As a kid the name Jetfire just struck a cord in me. I didn’t realize it then, but this characters gray area of reasoning really challenged right vs wrong reasoning. Which was hard to do in an 80’s cartoon. He was always a character of honor.

As a kid who watched every other Transformers series, only finding out about g1 a few years back, I was also surprised.

Jetfires one of those characters where he’s just badass no matter what continuity he’s in

It is common misconseption of him being SR-71 he transformed into A-12 or YF-12 becouse of his armament

In the 80s I was a big Transformers fan, and my best piece was Jetfire, the toy was huge, sturdy, and the essence of the 80s.

Dude was 50ft tall He was a one of the strongest transformers

Ever since I saw the "Revenge of the fallen" movie when I was a kid, I've think Jetfire is one of the coolest, and my favorite transformer ever. His appearance in the Michael Bay movie is just so sick, and so is his Sr-71 form!

2:50 Funnily enough earth and dirt in spanish are the same word so in the Spanish dub he goes on a rant about how the planet should be called "filth"

Jetfire: I had never done anything worthwhile in my life ya the comic says otherwise

I actually like Jetfire’s character more in the bayfilms. I like him being more of a grey area sort of figure who’s old and has pretty much seen it all. Most likely he changed sides just to get away from the other decepticons. He’s bitter but very wise.

i dont know if you know this yet but theres a easter egg, the term "three knights" is also referring to skids, mudflaps and bumble bee which, opened the blocked door when bee stopped the arguement between the twins

I loved the fact that in RotF he was a real display piece at my favorite Museum

Jetfire was OG in the movies the upgrade he gave prime lasted all the way till dark of the moon real one on metal!!!!!

The parachute sceene was funny until I saw a dude throw out his back with a fart... then it was hilarious 😂

I understand that cybertronians have been on Earth since before humans even existed if I'm not wrong but despite their ability to tap into the internet and any other data base in modern day language barriers would've made the the live action movies a bit better, if not just the second one with just Jet Fire struggling to communicate with Sam and friends. "They are ahh... coordinates, that's what you call it nowadays" I may be wrong, help.

Jetfire was the REAL hero in ROTF.

So, not only in the first movie, the animated one, but all Transformers' canon after... Ultra Magnus was not only screwed out of being the Optimus Prime successor as leader, but also screwed out of being the #2 in command. I'm a bit out of touch because I became an adult after Gen 1, so is... because of those events... Ultra Magnus now a Decepticon for being screwed over for so long now?

Not only no, but the cockpit was on his chest. His head hung below the fuselage like a gun turret. He looked like an F-14 with no horizontal stabilizers

My favorite character in transformers universe

Right, the only reason he showed up in a Bayverse was to be old, falling apart and not want to/be able to fight. BFD. The only reason he was there was to be killed off and the scrapped so Prime could get his armed Jet-pack. If anything, TRUE fans wanted to see him be badass in a fight. But non of the other characters were able to ever outshine Super Prime. And nonne of the character that were bigger than him were allowed in the movie either.

@@elishaschoonover8914 Jetfire was Produced as a Macross Vf-1, and Then Robotech- Takara toys didn’t even change his face until it was stateside. It could even do the Guardian mode from Robotech (badass) The only thing this Jetfire got right is switching sides to the autobots- Although it was starscream that was the last straw, not the fallen. Just saying it was a missed opportunity to ring in some fans with an easter egg

Lol.. that Jetfire in the movie look so trash. idk why Hasbro let the character designs for those characters so dumb. then they made non sense bumble bee so great 😅. in originals and gen2 bumble bee is nothing. and Jet fire plays great role in some episodes. the edited story in the movies and the character design is really scamming the new generation kids. and thats real talk 😅
