Primus Lite 3: Long term Review

Спорт

After over 650 miles of running in the Primus Lite III / 3, I give a full breakdown on how I feel they are holding up against the mileage and weather. How durable is this shoe durable? I'm also including your comments into the discussion.

Awesome! so what will be your go-to running shoes? Do you have a specific shoe in mind, or are you going to stick with the Primus Lite?

Currently I just rotate between the HFS and Primus Lite, I’m going to start using escalate racers very soon also (and making a full video about them)

Their revivo site, sells them at a decent discount. As well as gives you an option to send them in for repair.

Do you get sore feet running on asphalt in the Vivos? How long can you run in Vivos on asphalt without injury/pain? Is Altra better for ultra runs or fast runs on asphalt/concrete?

Hmm I used to get a little soreness, but it was like the feeling of muscles and stuff being sore not a injury type of pain. The furthest I’ve ran in minimalist shoes is 31.1 miles on two separate occasions. I would say Altra is better for ultra runs and/or fast runs as I believe it is more energy efficient using cushioning.

i was walking (not running) every day 8 months out of 12 for almost 3 years in my vivo primus Trail, at least a couple of kilometers a day, mostly concrete and streets but also a lot of gravel / stone terrain and forrest ground, i have just gone through the lugs on the outsole other than that zero damagae to them. EXTREMELY Abrasion Resistant. And because its Plastic they wont change from mud, rain, sun, heat and so on like a leather shoe

@@TirnanHealy the Merrel's, they're my favorite shoe I ever wore. I think they look good. The grip is good. They're verybbreathable. Not super expensive. Downsides is the insole wore out a bit, about 5 or 6 months because its so thin. I have two pairs, one i sprayed with watetproofing spray

@@Mote. thanks for the insight man, that might be my next minimalist pair, although I don’t think it will be for a while as these shoes seem like they got a decent bit of life left in them yet, and I’m gonna start using escalate racers too
