It does remind me of ZZ top "La Grange" but then again that reminds me of John Lee Hookers "Boogie Chillen". On a second listen through I was getting hints of "Year of the Parrot".

A metal head friend of mine was quite upset that Primus was included in Slayer's farewell tour. I tried to explain that Ler was tight with those guys but he just seemed to feel that, genre wise, including them was a faux pas. Because of that I'm not sure this idea would go over well 😅

Weird that people don't think this song is about the far right when the video is clearly taking the piss out of Alex Jones. Les has also stated in an interview that he is 100% NOT a conservative or a republican and they he is the black sheep of his conservative family. You just need to listen to conspiranoia, a song which makes fun of covid deniers and Q supporters to know that Les does not like conservatives.

I love the uniqueness of Primus. The reason why they are so great is because the different "weird" kinda style

i want to hear primus the rest of my life, that´s for sure

at a buffet, i personally sneak corndogs into the buffet so others can enjoy them. I hide 6 corndogs in my jacket pockets. it then, is a joy for me to see other patrons of the establishment eat my corndogs thinking they were part of the buffet.

The fact that I couldn't tell if this was a new song or some old song that was part of the wave of remasters that they have been putting out lately, is really a testament to how good this is. I wasn't really a fan of Green Naugahyde but this one has old 90's Primus vibes oozing from every stinkin' greasy pore.

What a wonderful surprise this Friday morning! I’m so happy to finally get a good look at the new video they’ve been playing in the background of this song, when I saw them back in April and they played this song for the first time ever they used the footage for antipop. Fantastic from work from Cage as always 🤘

We need a new full album guys!!! More Primus!!

Honestly I think primus right now is my main inspiration to learn bass. I wish more bands would show the power of bass guitar like they do by making it the main part of the music, or at least make its existence more apparent

I picked up bass three weeks ago, les is my biggest inspiration.

Just remember you have to crawl before you can walk. Les has been a huge inspiration for going on 30 years for me, but it took years to really be able to play like him, and even longer to get all the nuance of his playing style, just don't get discouraged, it will come to you in time.

Right there with you my guy, picked up a Bass maybe 2 years ago. Im still a long ways from playing anything like this but I'm loving it all the same .

I may not be able to bounce around a pit anymore, but whenever Primus plays, my legs involuntarily bounce and my head involuntarily slings my hair.

Glad they are releasing their own stuff again. Was so many side projects for years that gave a twist on their OG style. Les is a free spirit though so.

Classic Primus. So cool Tim Alexander is playing with them. Tribute to Kings tour was incredible. Hope they do all the early Rush albums, they can start a new trend. Thank you God for making Primus happen

Okay...loved the song and the video and that final image was just the cherry on the top. Very cleverly done from start to finish.

Can we respect the pure talent that each member has? The guitar playing is so damn unique just like the bass and drums. Les, Ler, and Herb are overly under-appreciated for their talent. Primus sucks though

@@bugahtul7184 All true. I left behind my punky alt music to become a college music student. Had to listen outside my zone... Got a bit snobby, but Primus grew as my ears did. They're full musicians with big ears and a penchant for pressing beyond typical song form. I could prattle for hours about them. Only recently heard Hallucino concert and I was absolutely floored like the first time I heard Miles' electric stuff.

Got hooked on bass and the different ways of playing and thought it looked like a fun instrument to play. I heard the Pork Soda album around whenevenr that happened and and was like, “Fuck I gotta get a bass!” Its as fun as it looks. Les plays it like he invented it and that’s what pushed me even further into bass.

God, they are awesome. Les is a living legend, and Herb is one of the most unique drummers I've ever heard. This new song crushes. Primus sucks, though.

Saw you all in Redding back on June 16th! Most likely the best night of my life. This band and Les's playing style have absolutely inspired me to keep working on learning bass. Seeing the stories you guys tell is inspiring for me, especially growing up pretty isolated in close-minded places up in rural NorCal. Thank you guys so much for never pulling the punches with your art. Primus sucks 🤘

So funny cause this week i went back to revisit antipop, frizzle fry cause those are personal favorites. I love all there work really. Each album is different yet the same ole primus due to Les. Nice to get this recommended to me.

Oh, dear god... I had to look for myself. Idk if you're saying this as support or ridicule, but I find his follows telling. He's become the thing he always stood in opposition against. From "to defy the laws of tradition" to "to defy the law is sedition".
