In 95, my older cousin had a Primus tape, so I asked him "What the hell is Primus?" "That´s music for weirdos" he said, and I was hooked for life..

Jeez, nine years ago, still sounds fresh, I only tapped on the post coz I thought I recognized the guitar as a ct. Who's guitars I found for the 1st time yesterday here on yt what a coincidence, be it a tribute to a ct guitar or not it's definitely equally as distinctive as a ct bass that's what caught my eye. I'm sooo glad I pressed play, what you draw out of that guitar and your technique is nothing short of genius (don't want to blow smoke up your chuff but I'm going to) I thoroughly enjoyed every second of that post I listened and watched in absolute awe, brilliant to say the least.👍❤✌ Ta lar

There’s a chromatic triple hammer on in Eleven, by the way. It’s a little hard to do since you have to bar two strings and hammer on at the same time, but it really makes the song. Incredible playing, house, tone, and of course BASS. Jealous beyond words.

Les Claypool and the music of Primus is (with of course other influences..but mainly) what got me to buy a bass at 24 with no prior music knowledge...of course their music seems like the hardest to learn of course..UGH. Yet keeping the mindset of finding the fun of learning a whole new language, finding fun in the lengthy journey, I'm sure some day these videos will help learning once to that point.
