I have this very machine and was wondering if you drained the water out of the hot/red side dispenser too? When you put the bottle with the water and vinegar solution back into place to let it sit for 10 min, does the water solution automatically go up into the reservoir to do it's cleaning or is there sometime we have to do like flip the buttons on the back? I’m wondering the same thing. All the videos I find say to connect the container and wait 10 minutes And then start pouring out by pressing the buttons. So we literally just let it sit? What’s the point of that right?

The power was always on . You only turn off the hot and cold switch during the cleaning process

Omg thank you. I have been having white floaters on my water and no one had heard of the machine doing this. I did do a cleaning and there is still some floaters. I have hope that maybe a mother cleaning will get this stuff out. Have you ever had to do a double cleaning to remove this stuff? Or maybe is it just all coming out from the clean I just did?

That's what I was thinking, why didn't they design a water cleaner into their system. It's not like it can't be done. Hum, disappointed in Primo for leaving that out. But they will probably add it into their next level of water dispensers.

Why do the cold and hot switches need to be off? Is it a problem if they’re on?

You can burn your motor out if the water isn't in there. They are meant to be on only if water is in there.

It makes sense why you're getting the floaters if putting tap water in jt all the minerals and fluoride in that water cause build up that will flake off

It's the same process, but the tank should never be empty of water while it's heated. Instead of draining the old water, skip to the step of running the vinager water through. You should also do this with your coffee maker.

I really don't think you have to clean the feeding tube if you periodically clean the machine with vinegar 😊😊😊

The black grate in the back is blocking the screw. We can’t take that screw out without removing the black grate. Has anyone else has this issue?

That’s how it comes from the factory. Might need to get at the screw from a certain angle

I had this problem too. I just kept unscrewing which started to flex the black grating, and eventually the screw wiggled out and the grate snapped right back into place. I wouldn’t worry about braking the black grating

Where is your leak?

The entire process seems good, the only part I would change would be instead of using tap water or filtered revert osmosis water I would use purified hot water with the vinegar.

@@zxnuc yes but Vinegar does not get rid of some of the “Extra” minerals or chemicals that it’s usually in the tap water either by deteriorating pipes or the water supply of each municipality. After all this is the reason why people are using the water dispenser to NOT DRINK TAP WATER and use water that has been filtered .
