▷ About Paul:
Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles.

    His kickflip foot positioning makes sense logically in terms of maximizing height if you think about it. By forcibly putting your foot on the opposite side like a heelflip you're giving yourself more time to continue raising the board up in the air before initiating the flick, just the same way moving your foot back on the board does.

  • @justinmusicandskateboardin9282

    @justinmusicandskateboardin9282

    20 күн бұрын

    and because whats important to do a kickflip is the position you get your foot to to initiate the actual flip, not where it came from, and travelling a slightly longer distance across the board doesnt really matter

    13:10 ish, crazy echoes, is that due to architecture or was it an sound edit to remove c music? Sounds like this weird tube reverb i built some years ago. Edit: it's clearly the architecture, a low amphitheatre with higher buildings facing it, I love this shit, it makes the trick sound like a lightsabre battle❤
