I'll insert a little realism into here, & you can ignore it. 1) Matt Canada was chanted out of town proving the fans have such power. 2) Sean McVay hired an assistant for just those moments when the stress of the clutch moments makes it impossible for him to think clearly. 3) The article about McDermott that no one is getting sued for libel over. I'm _hoping_ McD can lose this habit but retreating into a fight or flight panicky state is simply _HOW_ some people deal with stress. It is itself a reaction. & we're never gonna get to see Allen in the S-B so long as McDermott has the ability to assert his panic over the play-calling. I hope McVay sets a precedent because he & McD are far & away not the only coaches who need it. They're the norm rather than the exception as We The Fans would rather believe. Play-calling affects game outcomes, right?
