Three falling star beast and two astels fell from the sky if I'm not mistaken...this is what radahn was really trying to stop and not ranni...radahn himself is carian meaning his fate was aligned with the stars ...either these being beings were called upon by the intelligence side or the lands between was run by intelligence side at some point....there are alot of there little towers all round the map with women names who were more than likely carian princesses I assume from the names

Since he's such a big fan of Godfrey, Radahn throwing hands in his last phase actually makes sense 😂

This feels like a lore accurate battle with how the meteor shower is happening mid fight as opposed to after Radahn dies. Something like this would’ve made the me feel constantly in awe rather than just for one attack.

I feel like the mod makes more sense with what the lore has told us about Radahn before we fight him because it shows a monster not keeping their power in check because of its lack of control over itself.

He’s lost all sense and only keeps the horse around as it’s the only way he can efficiently move but besides that, he’s a monster not a conscious fighter.I feel it’d make more sense if he was more insane like in the mod shown here since a monster on the verge of death would be desperate to win by any means necessary.

I'm guessing that the longer the fights go on...the less control STARSCOURGE Radahn gets over...the Stars

He loses control on the 3rd health bar. This fight has 1 bar for leonard, 1 bar for radahn phase 1 and 1 bar for radahn phase 2

This is super dope. He pretty much runs into an ape at the end without much movement but still really cool and I love that they threw gale in there for the people that love his boss fight lol

4:31 Astel meteor, cool (Radahn holds the very stars with his gravity magic to prevent the destruction of the Lands Between. Maybe he knows of the existence of the Astels. There's an Astel cut attack where he'd fly to the sky and dive like a meteor, just like Radahn. This implies that astel should've participated Radahn's second phase, but the devs deleted it after, and made Radahn's meteor instead. Cool to see this feature added back, even if just for visual effects)

The fight of Radahn has always been the one I loved the most, simply because of his lore. I wrote once a small text about what I think is going on, based on the phases. Small intro here The festival began. As it did every year, at this exact same day, at this exact same time. Many have tried. Many have failed. Throughout this time, Jerren has seen Champions of old and new. Foreigners and inhabitants of the Lands Between. All have failed to give Radahn the peace he wanted, he needed, for the insanity of the Scarlet Rot had slowly rendered him to a beast. A shadow of his former self. To see his friend in this state was heartbreaking. Driven insane by the scarlet rot, Caelid, Limgrave, all of Liuarnia would have fallen to the depraved shell that was once Radahn. It was his noble steed, Leonard, who performed the ultimate sacrifice. Despite realizing it will suffer a lifetime, it dragged the remains of his beloved General over the cliff. Now, it walks in circles, on the red sands, preventing his master from shaming himself further by this beastial transformation. The Redmane Soldiers, having seen this fight up close, having seen the effect of the Scarlet Aeonia upon the land, made it their life's mission to prevent the red death from spreading around the lands. Sealing it in a ring of fire, the wall warding off the approach of the scarlet rot. And despite knowing they will never return home, never bask in the light of the Erdtree, or see the magnificent rays of the moon, they stayed. Honoring Radahn's memory. Hosting a festival to celebrate his passing, and holding onto the hope that one day, one day their beloved General will be released. That was a life time ago. With no death to end their misery, the soldiers began to hollow. Losing themselves. The only thing that kept them at their post was the vow they took to follow Radahn. To fight for the Lion of the Battlefield. To fulfill his last order, as he was being afflicted by the Scarlet Rot, inflicted by the Blade of Miquella. Another festival, another score of champions arrived to challenge Radahn. With each festival beginning, Jerren hopes that one of them can finally lay his friend to rest. For he is the last to hope. You come along. Whether you joined by the arrival of the festival or were a vassal of Lunar Princess Ranni. It mattered little. All he knew was that you are 'just' another champion to test your mettle against the mightiest of the demigod. As the sun arose to red, a howling echoed through the land. For the remains of Radahn realized, that soon, new prey will enter his territory. Only in this time will Leonard be able to rest, for he only follows his master's lead. Phase 1/2 Your feet touch the red sand, soaked by blood of heroes of old and new, tarnished, champions, it mattered little. You came to the lands between to repair the Elden Ring. Radahn was just another piece. Whether you fight with your fellow Vassal, your rival jar, the demon from a faraway land, the lionhearted knight, or the giant slaying warrior, or even alone, you face Radahn. Even with his mind gone, his wits bereft, his body knew how to wield his blades. His magic. He gives you nothing less than his best. You do the same. Jerren watches your fight with small hope. Feeling you might get his appetite worked up. "Just another tarnished. What do you have that the others lacked?" However, as the fight went on, you didn't give up. Radahn felt his self slowly returning. You were pushing him to his limits. Descending as a flaming meteor to kill you, the General unleashes a roar, a roar that reverberates throughout Caelid. All of the Redmane took notice. Their hollowed minds recognised the battle cry. Their wits, albeit long gone, still recalled their vow. To stand with their lord. Whether they could ride, walk or crawl, they all march toward Redmane Castle. Towards the cliffs in Dragonbarrow. All to see the sky darkening. Jerren watches you with baited breath and places his sign down. Offering you his assistance. But from what he saw, he only would get in the way. Phase 3: The loss of Leonard awoke something in Radahn. Something that has been dormant for an eternity. He stops holding back. Stops holding back the corruption spreading through his being. Stops holding back the stars. For you have earned his full might. The soldiers of Radhan watch. One began to chant. Two. Ten. All. For them, you are an enemy. One they had fought and killed maybe many times. But in this very moment, in this very night, you are the only hope to give Radahn the warrior's death he craved so much. As the sky begins to fall, finally released from the Redmane Lion, they watch on as Radahn is slowly being consumed by the remains of the Scarlet Rot. Casting his weapons aside, as he wishes to fight you like the Elden Lord of old. You clash one more time. And end the festival.

@10thousand74 are you sure? Because as far as I know from the lore, there was only one bloom before and that was when she fought Radahn. After that Finlay took her to the Haligtree but she did not have the needle with here. 2nd bloom should be in the fight. Did I miss somewhere in the lore about her 2nd bloom? If so, please correct me.

I feel like this should exclusively be a new game plus radahn, i know from software wont do this, but it be cool to have a game where their movesets get more crazy and varied on NG+ instead of a damage increase

@@andsonrebello2018 Radahn was weaker at the time, he was considerably smaller, weaker, less experienced and overall not as strong as he would become later on. Maliketh is a fair point and I don't know enough about that to argue. Though in his fight against Malenia he had the advantage until Malenia used Scarlet Aeonia to force a stalemate. It wasn't a stalemate because Malenia was too strong for him to outright beat, he got afflicted with rot and Malenia almost died trying to kill him. Using the stalemate to claim he isn't that strong is a weak point, though it's one every Radahn hater or Malenia simp can't stop using.

When we fought him, he's severely weakened, despite being immensely powerful. Malekith is freaking cheat code with the Rune of Death. Fighting him is a great risk for anyone, even a demigod. Almost to the point of being a suicide

As far as DLC for all of the fromsoft games go. Doing a release where you're just fighting some of these bosses or demi-gods in their prime would be worth every penny if done properly and in-game lore accurate. Boss fights back in time against Gransax or Marika would be awesome. Great vid.

radahn was a menace when the game first came out. it was truly an experience fitting radahn. they massacred him now. good to see this.

If i had Elden Ring on PC it would be the only game i ever need with these mods

Seeing these mods shows how insanely powerful both Radahn and Malenia were before. That battle had to have almost destroyed the entire Lands Between. Both of them were easily the most powerful in their primes. However, the lore also says that Miquella is the strongest of the demigods. So, he must have been insane.

The massive being that was the starscourge...seemed to put his hand near. Blaidd went to draw his blade but the scourge harmed ranni not. And to the shadows amazement...radahn spoke. It was weak,quiet and confused. But it was him. "Ran...ni...?" The starscourge closed his eyes. The lunar princess eyed blaidd. "You did well,blaidd." The shadow nodded. "At least radahn has peace..." The witch nodded. "When we return,i shall have iji assist me with burying the 2,near rennas rise. At least for them id like to do thee that kindness." The shadow nodded. "As you wish. So. Onward?" Ranni nodded. "Soon. Soon,all our efforts...will finaly bear fruit." And within moghs palace... miquella in the coocoon...a tear subconsciously shed. Knowing of poor radahns fate... To be continued...
