Have you seen what they do with US Presidents ? I saw a video here on KZread of Biden visiting New York , his helicopter landing on a riverside wharfe. The number of helicopters, V22 Ospreys, security boats - anyone would have though he was being inserted into Tehran, rather than a city in his own country. Hardly a madman. Incompetent yes, but not mad. And despite all the outriders and blue flashing lights, the security escort is pretty minimal. Nothing to do with ego.
