It is worth asking, then, what else could we expect? By letting hatred relentlessly accumulate toward each other, how could we think that hatred would not also surface toward us? This enmity clings to us like an unshakeable specter. The demonstrations of hatred in Tel Aviv, and all of our insults and the attempts to harm each other can only yield one outcome, for which we must all shoulder accountability. We need to acknowledge that we alone bear the responsibility for drawing these conflicts upon ourselves, as it is written, “No calamity comes to the world but for Israel” (Talmud Bavli, Yevamot, 63:1). Our catastrophe is that we let the egoistic and divisive drives within each of us get the better of us, a sentiment King Solomon wisely cautioned against when he urged, "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth” (Proverbs 27:1). How can we avert more severe trials in the days ahead? It is by fostering humility and cultivating a genuine yearning for heartfelt connections today. As the text 𝘔𝘢𝘰𝘳 𝘷𝘢 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘩 (𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘚𝘶𝘯) attests, "The primary shield against calamity is love and unity. When love and unity prevail among the people of Israel, and they abstain from harming one another, calamity finds no foothold." The pivotal factor for achieving a life of harmony and peace is our attitude to one another. We should hold no concerns or fears other than that of letting divisive drives overpower our motion to unite. Everyone following the unfolding events would thus be wise to contemplate the deeper reasons behind the situation that has befallen Israel today. Only unity above division can lead us to a peaceful resolution, one that assumes paramount importance in these trying times.

Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel. An attack that had focus on killing and kidnapping civilians including children and elderly people. Palestinians cannot swear themselves free from responsibility. They have always had the opportunity to turn to the world and ask for help fighting Hamas. They also accuse Israel for war crimes, which is a heavy accusation given their own action against Israeli civilians. The report on a Canadian news channel claiming that the tide will turn on Israel if Hamas is starting to kill hostages is surprising and disturbing. If anyone should be held accountable for the wellbeing of the hostage, it is Hamas. If you want to protest, Hamas is the receiving party! I am sure that the Israeli leadership will do their outmost to save every single person from the hostage situation. They have a track record suggesting that they will. The challenge is obviously the barbaric terrorists that has no respect for human beings. I find it disturbing that the world including news media doesn’t man up and support Israel in this difficult moment. It is a failure on the western democracies as they have not serious enough analyzed the situation and helped mitigated the problem. By supporting Palestinians, neglecting the role they have in this conflict. Negotiations with Iran from IAEA that would have had no impact even on a kindergarten teacher. The companies and individuals that has launched boycott of Israel in order to push the Israelis to submission. You have failed miserably in your judgment of the reality of the situation and imho you are responsible too for the devastating scenes we all are watching unraveling before us. Don’t you dare to accuse Israel. They are cleaning up the mess you all have been part creating. If Palestinians doesn’t appreciate their own men, women, people at all ages being killed. Maybe they should be as concerned about the people of Israel. If they had been just that, there would have been no war today. With that in mind we should all be appreciative towards the leadership of Israel 🇮🇱 for taking out the Nuclear Power Plants with Weapon-grade Plutonium capacity that was delivered by France. Today’s conflict could have been so much worse if the rockets fired at Israel would have had nuclear warheads. Just think about that for a while and figure what that could have brought the region and the global theater… A global conflict with nuclear weapons… it could have triggered WWIII!
