Prime Crime: Teen's Housesitting Weekend Turns into Horror Movie

Ойын-сауық

A 16-year-old girl was house-sitting for her aunt and uncle at their Idaho home, watching their two dogs and three cats while the family was out of town. Cassie Jo Stoddart invited her boyfriend over to hang out on Friday night. Two of their classmates joined them, getting a full house tour before watching a movie and leaving shortly after. Stoddart's boyfriend left after his mom denied letting him stay the night after the power went out. Later that night, Stoddart's worst fears would come true when she was confronted by two masked figures. Find out what happened that fateful night on this episode of "Prime Crime with Jesse Weber."

Btw, horror movie fans, like me, know two things. One, the movies are fake, and use a great number of effects to make it feel real. Second, the bad character in horror movies is bad. It's not questionable. He is a bad example. If these two guys did this, then they are both weak enough to be manipulated by a movie, and have mental issues.

They did do it. They had a video tape of them recording themselves, admitting to the video that they each “killed their friend.” Total sociopaths to be able to fake being her friend and in the next breath, slaughter her like it was nothing. They admitted that they were planning on killing her boyfriend (their buddy) too. His mom saved his life by picking him up.

when I was the teen babysitter for our neighborhood (well off, huge houses) these two brothers lured me into the basement to “look at” something, they turned off the lights and locked me down there, I crawled around the rooms for an hour crying while they beat on the door laughing, I found a landline phone and called my mom, she came over, sent the boys to their rooms and called their mom, her friend, come to find out later the neighbor 18+-year-old guy was in on it…….. there is no telling what would have happened to me if I hadn't crawled around trying to find a lamp etc and found that phone, when my mom got there they had taken an upstairs phone off the hook and turned off the whole houses power via the breaker box! never babysat again the time prior to that I sat they deadbolt me out of the house and were shooting bottle rockets out their third story windows, should have told on them then but I was making $25 an hour at 15 in 1990?

When Torey was interviewed the detectives already had the confession from Brian. Brian was never sorry for what he did during the interviews, he even smiled when asked about Cassie. He always wanted to minimize, he only half-confessed because he was about to get caught. He was very uncomfortable in his last interview when confronted about the found video tapes.

For those that keep wondering why the aunt doesn't recognize her and says girl if you listen to the whole 911 call she does say "omg that's my niece" so I'm thinking at first she probably didn't realize it was her until she got closer!! Please like this comment so it doesn't get lost. 😁😁😁

This as a movie fan especially of horror films is where it gets tricky of when you should allow your kids to watch horror movies. Kids brains are not wired to be able to take in such horror, gore, blood, and violence at such a young age. I even as a kid watched some horror but parents knew when to turn it off or when I was done etc. This ultimately comes down to the person who commits the terrible crime. If I ever have kids I'm not letting them watch horror movies until at least 15-16 these kids watched them at earlier ages and then it influenced them at the teenager age.

This is one of my favorite true crime stories. I've been fascinated with this crime case for years becuase I love the scream movies so it's interesting to have horror fan teenagers just like me to actually make the movies a reality and the recordings just makes this case chilling. It's also crazy how the year I was born this happened

I think the video tape most likely convinced the jury about the involvement of Brian. Both very disturbed & evil individuals. Everyone has a second chance in prison but they should never get out.

What exactly do these judges want? It seems more and more that their goal is to pretend they’re stewards of truth and the execution of justice; however it appears more and more they’re on the side of the criminals and NOT the innocent victims they callously leave in their wake.
