I know where you are at with furniture delays . I moved 3 months ago. @ 61 I bought my 1st home- a condo. New flooring & paint. New furniture-sectional & mattress so far. Everything else is waiting for me to decide what I really love and then however long the delay is...1 month to 8 months! Love following your talent!

I really like that design of both the horizontal and vertical stripes. It looks really good and I also love the simplicity of the crown. Try location studs when doing crown and ship lap. Also nail ship lap in the recessed part of the board so that the next board covers the nails. This will eliminate a lot of extra filling of holes. Great job though. 😊

Thank you. We typically install our shiplap by nailing in the tongue but the wall was so uneven we needed to apply a little bit more nails. Thanks

They have a habit of emailing you 2 or 3 days in advance that your package has arrived, and it's not delivered. They are so annoying. Loved the Pottery Barn dup also. Hey y'all 😊 Yes, Brittany I am OVER Fedex too, they are also known to claim that they 'attempted delivery' but never even entered the neighborhood. I found a bed that I am in love with for my new master suite, but it is out of stock for 3-5 months which is setting back my plans to setup my guest bedroom. I say this, almost, every comment but again... y'all really help me through the (stressful) process of decorating my new home. The channel is definitely leveling up and I love to see it. Remember the mudroom redo? That will be my first painting project this Spring 💪🏾🤞🏽 Thanks for allowing us to share in y'alls DIY journey 😊

Understand! Fedex has been an issue here too. Purchaed a desk to be delivered so I could set up prior to moving in, never got it. Fedex had it, but i never got it.

Totally feel your pain, FEDEX is the worst!!! They lost two of my packages when I first moved into my home. The worst thing is that no one holds the drivers accountable, they listed my packages as “ handed to customer “ knowing that they didn’t. Personally I think they’re stealing, media console and Dyson vacuum gone!!!

Oh NO! I’ve totally had that happen to me. Listed as delivered and they knew they didn’t. Just so frustrating because most of the time you don’t even know what company the place your offering from uses for deliveries.

@@thisgeorgiaclay Exactly and lots of companies don't require a signature, regardless of the cost of the item. Glad you got your money back and I eventually received my items too. Keep up the good work 👏

There is trick to shiplap. That is way to much nails. Where the lip is where the wood overlaps. Just a few nails there and then no nails will show and no cover up later. And those seems don't have to be filled in either. Shiplap is suppose to have those. But all in all I love your concept of the wall!

Thanks for the input. You’ll love our fireplace video where we did use that technique. We’ve noticed over time though that nailing in the tongue can leave the groove of the board looser than we like and since it was just a few rows we were okay with a few extra nails and filling. We were also going for a more seamless look instead of a traditional shiplap look.

Omgosh that is sooooooo annoying. 😩 You guys are taking DIY to the next level for sure!!! We have same headboard but with a canopy. I love the style headboard but I was not a fan of the canopy because it is so trendy.

I know your frustration. I am so sick of these delivery companies, Fedex has lost so much of my stuff. I have 2 deliveries pending.

We have been dealing with Samsung regarding our stove for Two months. It was supposed to be delivered in February they came and brought the wrong stove and then yesterday the Delivery guy coped an attitude because we didn’t give him our get code and drove off when we went to let him in …so we know what you are going through. Suck!

The issues you are having with FedEx is my thorn in the side with UPS🤦🏽‍♀️. I really dont know what they are doing with packages, do they just throw them around aimlessly 🤨 hopefully you will get your packages soon!

FEDEX is horrible! I watched the delivery guy through the ring actually throw my package on the porch, opened the door and he just turned and ran down the driveway. Luckily only the box was banged up.

Don't be discouraged by the bed delay. I ordered a bed from Wayfair March 15th with estimated delivery date of May 12th (10- 12 week wait). To my surprise the bed came in 2 1/2 weeks on April 2nd!
