This is a very nice option; a few months out from moving into our new home and I am stuck on how to treat/dress the wall going out of the front door it is a huge walk 24ft ceilings; four med windows a big picture window

I’m definitely gonna look into these. I just purchased and closed on a new home 3 weeks ago and just had a company to come out to give me a price on shutters shades and blinds. I want shutters on the front of my house and blinds and shade’s everywhere else. I think I can do the install on these myself because I was so hell bent on not doing anything and just paying someone but honey after the quote they gave me for all my windows whose gonna be installing their shades now? This girl! I did go with the shutters first on the front of the home and they will be ready in 8 weeks. I have no other choice because 2 of the front windows have an arch and I don’t know what I’m doing. So those are being made and will be professionally installed but the rest of these windows I’m clicking the link. Shades it is! Love yours

Hi Brandi! We have a Fischer Home, The Avery and our bedroom has its on floor and we love it! From what you've shown honestly, I don't like either floor plan but if I had to choose, it would be the Beckett. The Paxton is a larger Avery with the owner's suite with its own floor. We looked at Twin Lakes, nice subdivision. Happy hunting!

Please not Ikea not assembling the dresser already before sale saves yourself money for sprit , or renting a bigger van for transportation, or paying delivery. But you need an cordless electric screwdriver. The small handy ones, you'll be done in 1/4 of the time.

Hi. Thank you. Yes we mentioned that the fireplace is 72” wide and we have 9ft ceilings. The insert is a 50” unit.
if you spray paint a frame with glossy black as a base, and then spray paint your metallic... it'll give it a more realistic metallic effect vs spraying your metallic straight on the wood

Okay so the orientation of the living room and kitchen for me in The Beckett is top notch. I love how the family room is off to the side and the kitchen and eat in portion of it are separated and feels like it's own space that alone would probably make me go in that direction. Yes I like the Cafe products also but I would have those white cabinets painted some shade of blue either a Navy with Gold hardware or a Coastal Blue with Black hardware and the Island would be white. I do not like white cabinets it''s in every house now and so overdone it irks me lol. I love the front and back stairs it's something I always wanted as a kid in my house when I got older.
Thank you. Not color scheme at all but I can appreciate that you love it. I feel like white is timeless. Colored kitchen cabinets are very trendy and I feel like I would get over them really quickly. Which ever home we choose I definitely will be sharing everything I pick out at design.

Goodness the first house is my choice VERY EASILY! You practically gain another office space in the 2nd home and that's about it, but the first home offers so much more. Better dining space, pretty much 2 living room areas upstairs and downstairs, larger bedroom and closet spaces, HUUUUUGE garage and taller ceilings.

Both homes are beautiful. Brittany, we think alike a lot. Always thinking about where to put the Christmas trees😊. I think we moved into our new construction home round about the same time you guys moved into your home. And now, just like you guys, we are looking to move again. We want a home on a lake. Thank you and that sounds awesome. That neighborhood I was looking at the standing inventory homes had lake lots. Unfortunately, we decided against it because it wasn’t the area we would like to be in. Yes, I gotta figure out where my tree is going lol.
This looks amazing!!! I’m so glad I found you guys. We are building very soon, and I want to keep it basics beside upgrading for the floors to put in so I don’t have to rip it out and start over. But me and my husband have redone our 100 yr old home and made it modern but kept a lot of the old charm and would love to do so with a blank slate for us to put our touches on. I LOVE the Beckett!!! But I am partial to more of a Farm House look. The front of the house looks so grand and I can picture your home at CHristmas time with the garland coming down the stairs. Both homes are beautiful but the Beckett looks more you two style ❤

I really love both homes especially the kitchen in the Beckett but I think the Margot would be my choice due to the layout and the taller ceilings. The Margot has a larger garage which would give you more storage for your Christmas Decor.
I totally agree! So far the Margot is winning but I still have two more floorplans I would like to view before making a decision. I definitely will be taking you guys along.

I want to advise you be aware of any water that will come toward the house from a slope or hill, (both houses look to be lower than a slope to the outside back. Water in the yard and around foundation can be a huge problem & you could have flooding (ask me how I know).
Thanks for the advice. I wouldn’t be buying either of these homes. I was just viewing the floorplan. I plan on buying in a different city and picking out my lot with a green belt behind. Similar to what I have now.
Love these homes. Can you share why did yall choose the canton area (if yall lived elsewhere before). We live in South Georgia currently but we’re open to a new city.
Thank you. I lived in Newnan Ga when I first moved to Ga but I love the Alpharetta area which is on the north side. I also chose it because of the school district for my kiddos and the increased property values. The Northside of GA reminds just has more diversity for me and reminds me of home (California) a bit in that aspect. Hope that helps.

Your husband is very good with the camera. He knows where, when and how to take good improptude angle shots. Both houses were lovely but I think the first isn't as quirky as the second.
