I get anxiety for you thinking about painting them fully assembled like that haha. After I started setting my stuff up in sub assemblies I can't go back now.

I did too until I watched his army video and saw that all his marines are just sprayed flat black and have the shoulder pads and aquila picked out in gold. No highlighting no details just flat black with tiny bits of gold. Looks awful but easy.

Depends on your colorscheme tbh. My marines are dark so unpainted recesses are not noticeable because they are the same color as the shadows. Fully assembling the model before painting also allows me to apply a directional overall highlight with an airbrush.

You do need some guys in boring poses in a squad. If they're all in maximally dynamic poses it looks a bit too busy.

Thanks! Exactly what I needed. The manual doesn't even name the weapon options! Going to be using Heavy for my Iron Hands.

I only bought my first sets of Hellblasters recently, doing the Heavy Plasma Incinerators is a pain if you don't keep all the plasma cables together with their corresponding back pack part, because if you mix them up, you will waste a lot of time dry fitting to find the right part :(

10:00- Yeah, I don’t know where you got that rule book from. Maybe a special edition box or older/newer box that I’ve never seen but that is definitely not the same one I got for either hellblaster sets I have! I would add picture to prove my point but you can’t on here!!!

I'll be making a video of my Chapter and their origin in a few weeks once I've painted a few of them up.

Now that we have Heavy Intercessors and Eradicators, I do wonder why GW didn't wait and give these to Gravis armoured Marines to keep that theme going

point cost how much are they like that?

Reckon any of them could have their bodies swapped with black templar Crusader Initiates?

What about combing these with the intercessor kit so both have 10 unique leg poses. Would that work?

5:48- I get what you mean but if you were talking to someone behind and slightly to the side of you and you were telling them where to go by pointing then you obviously wouldn’t be looking where you’re pointing. When I see that I have no problem figuring out what is happening. It’s when they are looking at the same point that their pointing at that I stop and think “um, what is happening?!? Is he trying to kill his enemies by pointing at them!?!” Just saying

Why do they all have their sidearm holsters on their left hip? Their main guns are all used right-handed, but their sidearms are set up for left-handed use.

Space marines are ambidextrous as a result of their enhancements.

Steven Holt no because you're paying £35 for 10 models as opposed to £20 for 5. 10 models is the better deal but still expensive.

BRETHREN POTATO classics are have much nicer models. Especially blood angels, space wolves and dark angels.

Does the boxset come with the rules?

Ok, so I hate having twins so I was wondering if I can buy a box of Hellblasters and one of Intercessors and mix the torsos and legs so I have two ten man squads with different poses between the squads.

Evelio Mora you can't mix torsos and legs from both sets. The legs in one set are only compatible with the torsos in that set. You can mix the weapon arms with the torsos thought.

love the models but the fluff of splitting tactical squads into all plasma and all bolter still irks me. isn't the point of tactical squads to be versatile? agh

if we're talking about fluff you'd think after 10 THOUSAND YEARS they would have +1 STR and +1 Toughness too. They are slightly faster and have 1 more wound and oh shiny new guns. In terms of squad versatility I can't get past how they can't fit in other transports. I don't think I'll ever be able to get past that. If I did I could probably progress onto your level of logic about squads all kitted with the same (sort of) weapons but until then...

Guilliman decided to implement the Primaris marines as specialist units the way it was done when the all space marines were organized into legions. The tactical marines still operate as versatile units. He never changed the roles for tactical squads, assault marines, and devastators.
