Hero is bad though. If any other initiating str hero gets off their spell, they have instant impact. PB has 0 impact even if he gets a perfect initiate against any 0 cast point disable unless he has BKB and even with BKB it's incredibly underwhelming. No channeled stun in the game should be only 2 seconds, and especially not one with melee cast range. They should honestly make his ult 6 seconds and have the ministun duration increase so that you can still interrupt it if you're outside the aoe, but if you're in the AOE you already fucked up even if you have an orchid or something.

Most heroes don’t rely on most of their damage to remain on top of the enemy, so stuns hurt primal more than most.

Most heroes have spells they can cast between stuns that will still be effective even if they are stunned in the next two seconds after casting them.

not really. primal beast is a hero that wants to be in the middle of the enemy team, which guarantees that he will get stunned, a lot of other heroes that want to be in the middle of the enemy team have ways of dealing damage/absorbing damage even while stunned (pudge, mars, leshrac, death prophet, centaur for example) primal beast needs to be in the middle of the enemy team to do any sort of damage but in doing so he gets stunned and dies instantly

All his spells are either channeled or can be blocked. The rush is like a bad spirit breaker, the stomp is like trash sandking ult, the ult is kinda bad. Hero needs a bit of rework

I think Primal is a counter initiator hero (Like enigma). I think the most effective way to play this hero rn is to play aggressive roamer ganker (low cooldown spells that hit hart fast and insane range on charge) and get those early kills on the important heroes because of how strong PB is early game. Once teamfights become the norm, you just gotta let your team go in first and hide in the trees, see a fight happen, and charge in running over as many people as you can with your stomp and quickly grab someone with your ult in the middle of the chaos and wreck havoc. BKB is important if you wish for your ult to be useable once ur in there though. You do probably the most damage out of nowhere compared to most heroes. The nuke of that stomp with charge is nothing to laugh at

The first skill since its physical should be able to proc items to any enemy hit. The second skill needs to give movement buff even a little. The third skill should have the debuff removal by default and has the option to right click for it to auto use when not silenced after 5 hits. Shard should also allow to throw the unit grabbed instead of a stone during the Ult.

even after getting buffs this weekend, pb has 46% winrate. falls off super hard past 25 mins and is much worse when teams know how to play around him and tp react

Even though Bdog's getting there in years and has to keep playing with total imbiciles to maintain his living, cant deny that hero design's off. PB is much more like a LoL toplaner/jungler than your average Dota hero - but those can spend entire games in 1v1 2v1 and 2v2 scenarios where there's a lot less cc to get through and target lockdown actually matters

What ? Almost every Str stunner/innitiator in Dota are the somewhat the same as him lmfao. Let see: Earth spirit: AoE Slow, Stun, Silence, AoE DPS PB: AoE Stun, AoE Slow and DPS, Tankiness, AoE Stun Centaur: AoE Stun, AoE damage, Tankiness, AoE slow. Etc… The design isnt off nor does it even resemble League toplaners at all, its because it falls off late game that people felt its bad. Also, Bulldog just play like shit lmfao.

Tbh its he did do silly things but like how was he gonna know three of them was gonna be there when he had no vision and also the hero’s dmg from his spells/dmg output seem very underwhelming and his ult being interrupted-able is a bit bad, like get there are other ults in the game that are channels and can be interrupted but then theres heroes like juggernaut a melee hero, whose ult makes him un-targetable and is basically an un-cancelable channel so its kinda goofy that primal a melee hero ult is abled to be cancelled so easily when he suffers already from other glaring weaknesses like slow attack speed, being easy to kite maybe even easier to kite than ursa and having to charge a move to get the max range with slow turning and not mention regardless of how long you charge it for the cooldown stays the same length which is kinda ridiculous imo. I do agree after watching many playing this hero he has problem and could use some tweaking as a it doesnt seem right for melee hero to be shut down so easily on all his moves which are also slow to do dmg which is basically his only means to do big damage/gimmick

Then again, these pro players have played for years and years. I think their input on why the hero feels off and odd to play should be considered.

Just give PB 60-70% status resist when 2nd or 3rd skill activated and I reckon the problems will be fixed.

I dunno about bad mechanical design but aesthetically this hero is fucking lame. All he does is make growling sounds, really? And the ability animations are just fucking comical. Also even from a gameplay perspective the hero isn't very interesting, wow he bashes the ground and smashes people, gee that's super interesting. What happened to actually interesting heroes?

These heroes are so bad, man. Like the model for beast literally looks like it's floating and not walking, in the first place. They are making the heroes so that people don't have to right-click anymore. Just like some other moba out there.
