The Pride II is a breathtakingly beautiful Clipper. I'm so proud of Baltimore (my home) To see her in full sail is a sight you'll never forget.. Long may The Pride II sail and be remembered.

What a dilemma! Whom do I root for!? I sailed as volunteer crew on US Brig Niagara back in high school, and currently I live in Baltimore. Both ships are close to my heart ❤️

Please correct me if I'm wrong but I heard the Pride II was lost at sea in the Carribean? So is this a Pride III?

@@PrideofBaltimore Added to what was said it is a means of improving performance to windward. I don't know why this is but it works.

The real reason for this magnificent design is not so lovely. They were designed 200 years ago to carry slaves and outrun the British anti slaver blockade of Western Africa. Pride of Baltimore is a beautiful ship and I visited her in Bristol England.
