Pride Month cake smashed at Michigan grocery store prompts nationwide support
A vandal at a northern Michigan grocery story hoped to send a message about Pride Month.
But his or her actions may have actually sparked a nationwide outpouring of support.
A few days ago, a baker at the Family Fare in Boyne City decorated some grab-and-go cakes with an LGBTQ+ Pride Month theme.
She didn't think anything of it, until someone else did. At the cake decorator's request, we're protecting her identity for this story.

"We are protecting her identity, but here is her voice, here is where she works and exactly what position she does in the store in this small town to find her." Good lord, never talk to news agencies if you want your identity hidden. They screw you every time. Now, I do t know how this qualifies as a news story…it’s cheap. That said, it's a cake. How ignorant do you have to be to ruin a cake? That is the act of a petulant child...yet that is what we see in the actions of adults these days. To the cake lady: Don't trust news organizations to hide your identity, they don't care about you just their story. They get a lot of people hurt pulling that crap, and have no repercussions for doing so. Also, keep on making cakes for celebrations. Don't let one impulsive moron ruin it for ya.

@whitediggity you have more rights and privileges and protections than any other demographic. So, don't even go calling it a protest still. As a veteran you should be absolutely ashamed and sickened by that community and the things they are actively pushing on society.
