I am the friend and I do not use any soap but hers. It's so amazing and the fragrance stays with me all day.

I USED TO SELL CANDLES AT CRAFT SHOWS AND VENDOR EVENTS. SALES AND TURNOUT WERE HARD TO FORESEE. i SOLD THE MOST DURING THE FALL AND HOLIDAY SEASONS. STICK WITH IT AT LEAST UNTIL THEN AND RUN YOUR NUMBERS. YOU'VE ALREADY GOT THE INVENTORY.

Ive been vending for 3yrs doing candles and tarot. For my candle business, I learned to just sell what I have and maybe add a few simple items that cost much or take much time to do. I dont do anything Easyer, Pride, Womens day, Valentines specific as far as branding. That saves alot of time. And money. Youll sell your products. Keep grinding. Sell what you have even if you need to change your labels from pride. Its safe to make something cute & giftable. But, event specific is risky. Just keep swimming. Im in Tampa.

You live in Florida~ Pride events are usually held in the (in the USA) hotter summer months. You have a new channel and you tried to go to an event that may not have been what you envisioned. Had you ever been in attendance of an LGBTQIA event like Pride? I’ve got a tonne of observations about your video; I would like to say you can’t really judge how your business is going to go because you went to an event that supposed be an expression of solidarity of being yourself unapologetically; Pride is notorious for being Commodified and Commercialized, speaking as a member. Keep going, hit up your farmers’ markets, open a virtual shop….

Yes, I have been to a Pride event before but I have never been a vendor at one. The amount of attendees from the previous year, the advertising for the event and various other factors were why I was expecting a lot larger crowd. you are definitely right about it being commercialized. Thank you so much for your insight. I appreciate you.

Take it as a learning experience. I prefer the markets over themed events. For the very few that I go I produce less than a 1/3 of theme directed product. Unless it’s a market, People don’t like to carry around things. I install fans in my tent. If electricity is provided I install 2 fans attached to the tent if not I take battery fans and run the fans from the back directed to the table. It makes the visit to the tent more pleasant. While I pack the items I offer an 8oz bottle of water to my clients if I see that they are not carrying water. For the sun I carry a light cloth type drapes or the tent walls and broom sticks and make kind of an extension of the borders but inclined. You will learn the type of products to carry depending on the events. It is better not to showcase some if you risk of loosing them because of damage. Maybe take a few and keep an eye on them if you need to move them. Keep following your dreams. It’s not easy but is worth it.
