1:39 the way Sokoudjou hopped on one leg over Arona's trip attempt was amazing! God I miss those days. UFC 300 was awesome, but Pride was EPIC in every way!

I remember alot of people including myself thought Sodkoudjou was going to be one of the all time greats with this fight and his K.O. Of Little Nog. He fought some killers in the first half of his career.

Similar to Hector Lombard in so many ways. Explosive guys with a ton of tools but for some reason just couldn't figure out how to be consistent in winning.

Juizao foi corajoso de entrar na frente do tiro de meta do camarones. Grande Arona, guerreiro, mas essa o sokojones mereceu

Esse foi o último evento eu tenho Esse DVD

Sokoujou was not the most skilled or smart fighter but man, he was a powerhouse with great agility. I remember watching a few of his fights and thought "man...what a species of athlete..."

@@blizzuh5740 No, but I did a lot of inquiring in the earlier 2000’s because I was trying to figure out why his performances were so hot and cold. On Sherdog at that time, there were a lot of inside guys from gyms who said he had a reputation for not training hard. Incredibly gifted but did not work hard.

@@NemeanLion- he was with my gym when he first moved from africa, until he left without paying a bunch of money. He learned all his basics with my gym then screwed the owner over and joined team quest

@@Braz438 mas é estranho Arona não consegui derrubar esse Camaronês. O cara foi 4 vezes campeão do ADCC lutando com Mark Ker e outras feras. Saiu na porrada com Fedor e deu até quedão, sem contar que Arona era um cavalo de tão forte. Achei estranho ele não ter dado pelo menos uma quedinha.

Ricardo Arona estava com DENGUE por isso perdeu a luta !! ele tem exames que comprovaram isso.

ESTE NEGÓCIO DE ENFIAR A CARA CITURA PERIGA LEVAR UM UP

Até hoje não entendi porque o Arona não pegou as costas do cara enquanto tava grudado na perna dele... Teve mais de uma oportunidade e inclusive o Rameau não estava nem de perto com uma guilhotina encaixada para segurar... E mesmo que tenha perdido essa oportunidade, quando abriu mão da queda voltou para trás de forma muito amadora abrindo toda defesa para o golpe que terminou com a luta. Foi vacilo em cima de vacilo. Provavelmente estava bastante desconcentrado antes de começar a luta já. Arona era 10 vezes mais lutador que que o Rameau.

O Arona inventou desculpas depois dessa luta inventou contra o shogun contra o Rampange Jackson esse aí é bom de balela viu

A estratégia do Arona nessa luta não foi boa. Ele deve ter ficado muito frustrado, pois era muito melhor que seu adversário.

O Ricardo pegou um cara muito bom de wrestling ele não colocaria o cara com as costas no chão mesmo que conseguisse não ia manter esse camaronês treinava duro com o Randy Couture e Dan Henderson o Arona foi o rei do ADCC mas no MMA a pegada é outra

Contre Arona l'arrêt est prématuré, certes Arona prend un joli knock down mais il se repositionne illico. Soukoudju était un assez bon fighter mais trop sur côté !

I think he had one more fight in a minor promotion and mulled a comeback but ended up never returning to the cage. He had a great career all things considered and got out early before taking an obscene amount of damage.

@@adamv.4984 Don't be silly. ...he improved dramatically when he entered the UFC. He wiped out the pride middleweight champion: Dan Henderson. Crocop and Big Nog could not hold it down in UFC either. The pace and competition was too much for them.
