I had a video call appraisal with Dr. Lori and we sorted through all of my items. I didn’t know something like a Chewbacca doll could hold so much value! Dr. Lori was very kind and helpful and I would recommend her to everyone who’s curious about the value and history of their pieces.

I collect many things, but jewelry is my favorite. Even as a little kid, I wanted to wear whatever jewelery I could get my hands on, and all of it at once. As I'm typing this, I have 14 rings on my ten fingers. I bought an antique bracelet last weekend with a heart shaped padlock, it's marked Sterling, and engraved 1884. I think what I bought is meant to be a charm bracelet, but I'm not sure. I would give anything to have Dr.Lori sit and dig through all of my jewelery with me ❤️❤️

I love huge clip on earrings. I have a really long chunky Sterling chain that I clip one onto as a pendant, and a thin Sterling band I clip the other to and wear as a statement ring.

The thing I like most about your vids, besides your hootzpa, is when you teach little things about social history. Like in another video you explained about how people used to tie cans to newlyweds car to scare evil spirits. I also learned from you that a shoe meant prosperity so people would throw shoes at the groom lol. I love learning the reasons for why we started doing things a certain way.

Glad we could connect! Yes I do appraisals during FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, etc. You pick your favorite chat app! I also look at photos. Whichever you prefer.

Lori did ever view the Indian statue I put on Tampa radio in the morning it was a few weeks ago top was marble n body was cast like and base was Mahogany wood. I apologize I know this isn't about jewelry but what day is it on that show you do free I will put it on again because it is very odd and never seen anything like it even had people at Goodwill in bewilderment like myself walking around looking in my cart. The unlimited appraisal or Priority Ask Dr. Lori service as we call it provides email replies from me not reports.

As my mom told me when I wanted to get my ears pierced only prostitutes pierced their ears. So I did it after I turned 18 and I think my mom finally pierced hers when she was 50, I still have some of those clip ons!

What do you mean the youngest child don't get anything lol I was the only child and never got a thing. Everybody used to say to me at school home must be nice you're a only child you must be spoiled rotten Isis not with a dad that was born in 1906 who had nothing when he grew up and didn't think I needed too much. I came along in the late 50s and I wasn't even close to being spoiled in fact I was denied a lot of things just Basic clothing he would say just be happy what you got and he made a lot of money but I asked him for a Barbie doll one day and he said go over to your girlfriend's and play with her Barbie dolls. The only thing I got was a train set and it was one of those trains that you light a little fire inside and it would smoke as it went around the track that was kind of cool wish I had that train set now..
