This cop is absolutely guilty of criminal trespass. The uploader did a great job of informing the cop that he was trespassed. However, all the jokes would make this difficult for any prosecutor that was willing to file charges.

Shining the light into the camera was a 1st Amendment violation, and remaining on the porch while continuously being asked to leave was a 4th amendment violation. The cop continues knocking after being told to leave without ever identifying himself as an officer, which is harassment/trespassing. There have been many stories of people impersonating the police, so I require them to ID, even if it’s a consensual encounter.

The better course of action is to issue an official trespass warning against him. That way if he comes back again he won't have any qualified immunity because he will have been put on notice that returning to the property will be criminal trespassing.

nah he was intentionally harassing the homeowner by being annoying. but if you think about it, the homeowner is having a blast insulting the cop in the comfort of his own house, probably eating popcorn, while the cop is standing up knocking on some wood the whole time.

In most states the laws say you can eject trespassers by force, but it's a case of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Anyone doing that to the king's men won't survive the reprisals.

After the 1st knock "Leave my property now, you're trespassing" 2nd knock "The State Police are on the way to remove you, bye now" 😅

Definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome as the cop repeatedly knocks the door expecting someone to answer.

I'm about half way through when I wrote this, the deputy hasn't articulated why he's there yet. So he is trespassing & harassing.Just finished & he still didn't articulate why he was there. I thought the whole video was funny but he should've got his name & badge number. So he could file a complaint on him. And did you notice that he parked down the street so that he couldn't get the vehicle # on camera. Which tells me 2 things, 1, he wasn't there for a call or 2, he was driving his personal vehicle.

He's funny! You know I'm recording right? As he's trespassing!

You can buy recordings of prey being caught by predators, the shrieks of a rabbit getting torn apart turned up to 11 will give you nightmares.

The best thing you can do is install a sprinkler system on your porch. You could run the line to your septic if you want to get real nasty about it. ;)
