Preventing & Reversing Illnesses Through Healthy Eating

Most doctors prescribe a slew of medications to mask symptoms instead of getting to the root of the problem: the food. Food is the biggest factor when it comes to various health conditions including heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and more. What we put into our body everyday can be extremely beneficial or detrimental to our health. You can prevent, reverse, or alleviate illnesses by changing what you eat, watch the full video to learn more.

Yes! I had osteoarthritis so bad I couldn't play the piano anymore UNTIL I eliminated dairy and oils. 100% WHOLE PLANT FOODS really works. My partner now rarely takes blood pressure meds and has had no gout attacks since he started eating this way. Dillon and Reebs help make it accessible and simple and delicious ❤

I got back on my healthy eating way of life and I’m down 65 lbs. Also my blood pressure is 120/62. I haven’t seen my b.p. that low in decades. I keep reminding myself “ it’s the FOOD stupid”!! ☺️

LOVED this rant! One addition to the part where you said if the doctors won't eat this way themselves, they're not going to tell you to. It's more of.....if they tell YOU to eat this way, they will eventually lose a patient because you won't need to be on the medications which they get a kick-back from the pharmaceutical companies!! The doctors NEED you to stay sick to keep themselves in business!!

I am so sorry about your experience, but by taking care of your health and eating you will be regaining control and it's the best revenge when people hurt you or life just goes bad. Hold your head high, show yourself and others that you care about your health or appearance or those who have hurt you will have won twice. Do your best to eat well, dress well and smile - fake it until you feel it, it really works. And don't wait for inspiration that might take years to come. Just start today, at the next meal. Get rid of all the junk in your house and fill yourself with delicious plant based meals, you can do it! You will learn to separate feelings from feedings once you get going and stick to a healthy way of eating. You already know what to do so be kind to yourself when others aren't. You deserve it.

@@Oystermato Why did you buy the junk? If you don't buy it you can't eat it. At the end of the day it is your choice. No point in eating well at one meal and junk later, consistency is really vital.

It was the book "How Not to die" by Dr Michael Greger that brought evidence based whole food plant based eating into my life and saved my health. Then I also read most of what was mentioned in the video. There's also the pioneer Dr. Dean Ornish. Great stuff!

I'm 27 and high cholesterol "runs in my family," as they say. I switched from vegetarian to vegan at 20 and then a few years ago went WFPB. My cholesterol has gone DOWN since my early 20s. From 170 down to 150 in just 2 years. This diet does work if you make it your lifestyle.

Love your videos and this is a great overview to help those just getting started! My biggest struggle is traveling as our family and friends don't live near us as we move a lot for my husband's job. It is very difficult to stay on track that way as their kitchens don't have all I need and use and sometimes not feasible to travel with kitchen appliances, lol. Plus not a lot of time to reprep when visiting. I would love suggestions for how to travel with this lifestyle as we all know not many places offer quick WFPB SOS options :-) Maybe a video idea for you? ;-) Thanks so much for all you do, it truly makes a difference!!

My brother-in-law got very very sick…like he should have been in a coma, his doctors said. He didn’t know he had type 2 diabetes!!! He got prescribed insulin (by injection in the beginning, then after a few months in pill form because it was not as severe), and eventually ZERO MEDS!!! His doctor could not believe it!!! He completely reversed it on his own by eating really healthy, and in a very short period of time. He still eats meat but he is very careful to eat well.

I have schizophrenia, depression, metabolic syndrome, low energy and loss of sexual vitality. It all goes sideways when you pour in dietary poisons. Now on largely whole food plant based sugar oil and salt free. I have noticed my muscle mass increase since I dropped the salt and all of my conditions have gotten significantly better by eating whole foods. It takes time and you have to pick yourself up and make a better system when you get tripped up. These videos are good. We all need to watch one or two of them every day to help make our dietary changes materialize over time.
