The paper flowers were a super cute idea especially with the pompom push pins! Loved that. I would’ve appreciated showing some organization and general styling of the other side of her office even if you weren’t bringing anything new in over there. I was left worrying that her office was less functional bc of the makeover

Fantastic job. But where did you put the functional part of her business? ie printer, products, boxes, postal label maker, shipping???

Like others have commented, I wish we could see the other side where all the printers, shipping labels and supply storage goes. Trying to incorporate those elements is always a challenge and I really want to see your take on it to help get ideas on how to deal with my own lol. Love the flowers here though

I wish you would have shown the rst of the room, even if it's not so pretty, it's still her office and she needs to do all that work.. It always seems a bit off that all of a sudden all her " work stuff" is gone. All the supplys, products, packing station.. Even if the functional things are not so picture perfect I would love to see them as well even if you just reorganized them in a more practical way. seeing you gave them a FUNCTIONING office/space rather than just the cute makeover. :) otherwise it sometims feels like you want/have to hide things from the viewer by not showing the rest of the room.. I really don't mean it in a bad way, I loved this makeover, it swas such a big change!! It looks so great and fits her company and style!!! ❤️ Just thought I'd leave some honest feedback as I'm sure you want to improve constantly 😘😘 Never miss a video on both of your channels by the way, absolute fan of your work ❤️

I know right, i was asking myself the same questions. What about the boxes that were there, or even the printer? Where did it all go? I would love to do something similar with my office, but i have a printer and so much paper, it's not all cute :/

Nika I redid my entire office and I got a bookcase used and placed my printers at the bottom of the bookcase so u don’t see them and they’re all plugged in so u can use them. Hopefully that helps u. I think function is important and if ur creative u can combine the two more effectively

I was looking through the comments about this. I was even hoping for a nice rug under the desk and chair. I am happy she loved it but thought there would be more to it than just a circle and chairs.

Thank you for saying that! I was thinking the same especially with how they both described the company. It’s really bare considering how much we know Alexandra loves to play with patterns/ textures. It’s a Black Owned beauty company too so I really expected more vibrancy

I love Alexandra but I feel like there was missed opportunities here I guess. She may have painted the accent circle in black which is also the brand’s color and affixed the brand logo in neon lighting (pink) to make it pop. She mentioned they already had the logo sign done but it looks a bit too small in proportion to the wall maybe? Also if the circle was painted in black the gold lamp in front would have popped more but maybe the client didn’t want a high contrast accent, who knows? the flowers while beautiful look a bit too craftsy to me like they belong more in a bridal shower or wedding. They would look absolutely stunning in a festive event. Since it is a beauty subscription box, instead of the florals Alexandra may have doodled or framed some minimalistic cosmetic/skincare illustrations or silhouettes in black which might have looked more polished and stayed on theme. But I do think there is a part 2 to the video since she mentioned she’s tackling that side of the room first

Miracle Spyer I hope you’re right about a part two because this really isn’t it. And she does just so many small spaces and rental spaces so it’s not like those were limitations for her. It’s just undone and the more I watch her other videos the more this one sticks out

This one is the most empowering makeover so far!!! Really moved by how Alexandra just changed the place.

I think because people used to comment on that!! They would say something like the client lost money, they could ve done a lot more with $900 instead of splurging on something specific ... then Alexandra clarified that the money is not coming out of the client's pocket, but it's actually a gift from shopify, and then stopped the counter.

really love your stuff alexandra! but i've gotta say this one seems empty? keeping the rest of the walls white, no artwork on the other walls, she mentioned she loves color and you brought in a very muted pink. for an office makeover that is supposed to give us ideas for our own office it would be helpful to see how you styled her printer as well as all of her shipping supplies. just felt a bit underwhelmed with this one!
