I don't understand Marathi very much but expressions of the mother in law and captions made the thing unforgettable ❤

Brilliant ad! Casting is perfect. The bahu is modern but trying to win over her in laws-not only trying the pressure cooker modaks, but also representing one. Hubby supporting, mother in law -typical making satirical comments but being there for the family after all. And a very supporting and comforting father in law accommodating the new member of the family despite knowing the imperfections. The gentle humor with a mix of language by Jayant Gadekar playing father in law keeps us watching and waiting for more without getting bored.

this...the characters are so relatable... my boyfriend was also marathi and I am from madhya pradesh, was born in indore just like ishani in this short film... The stress to impress parents is soo real.... but he broke up with me recently and this appeared on my home page of yt even thought I don't watch short films ...ik its a coincidence but.. the whole story is so beautiful & touching .. and yes, it did reminded me of him and all the times we spent together..

This could be made into a serial if its story keeps the image of slice of life an culture and modern twist to it 😊.

"Tila nahi kalat kahi goshti" was delivered very smoothly like its okay to be incapabe of doing/understanding a couple of things.

It is by far one of the best creation from @BhadiPa i could relate with this. This is how families are supposed to be. Helping one another in the difficult times and sharing love and sorrow!

I am not from Maharashtra but always liked your content Bhadipa. Even in this video the concept and story was simple yet meaningful and impactful . Great episode looking forward to many more .

I cried! My granny was also a supporting M-I-L to my aunt, my aunt also grew up without her mom so she didn’t know cooking and she was gujrati and my uncle kannadiga But now she cooks my granny s recipes with love. My granny also cooks recipes learnt from her own MiL long ago with lots of love and she mentions that it was taught to me by her. My mom also learnt many snacks from my paternal granny ie her MiL

I just want more of them. Really like it . For sure going to show this to my mom. This video made my day.
