Sure hope no small shards of obsidian flake off in to the food.

Hey press tube Ive been watching since 2015 i believe and ive finally had a project come up where i need to sand cast some aluminum gears and i was wondering what you used for casting as theres not much said other than "green sand" and i want to make sure im finding the right sand to use for the casting as it needs to be relatively a good casting if possible

Wonder how well this would work with purified silica sand? looks like the only real issue with it is the sticky lumps and the potability of the cooking surface with heavy metals. This reminds me of an old engineering design challenge to make cookware and utensils that is endlessly recyclable.

Is that obsidian when it cools
@exxor9108
Жыл бұрын
Yes, being that its a small portion of lava that isn't in a volcanic area, it cools quickly enough for the crystals to not formulate. Therefore it becomes brittle, like glass.
