Press Release: Time for a 'GREAT RESET' on the EWC PUBLIC PARTICIPATION PROCESS

"The committee is trying to meet some arbitrary deadline it's set for itself, but the constitutional court has stressed that all citizens have the right to participate in the legislative process." Anthea Jeffery or the IRR.
Both of the parliamentary committees dealing with expropriation without compensation (EWC) bills have breached their constitutional obligations to ‘facilitate public participation’ in the legislative process.
Both committees therefore need to start again, with a ‘great reset’ that includes a proper socio-economic assessment of both bills - and a new willingness to take into account the great dangers in EWC and the many objections to it that South Africans have raised.

Thank you for lucid, pragmatic thinking about the unfolding situation and particularly the flaws in the process. The South African version of this Marxist ideology is attempting to revert us to a form Medieval Feudalism. This ideology wants Centralised state control of every facet of our lives, starting with removal of property rights and the rise of a ‘ collective’ as opposed to primacy of individual rights as its core fundamental premise. We will see State (rather than the medieval nobility) acting as the chief controlling agent. As with the feudalism of the medieval period our lives and hard won modern liberties will be impoverished and lost.

No links to any petitions. Poor show. No wonder there is so little public participation. I still haven't received an email or reply when I went to the website. ARE YOU EVEN SERIOUS ABOUT WHAT YOU DOING? WHY ARE YOU NOT PROMOTING THE GLOBAL FREEDOMS DAY FOR THE 20 March?
