how many times can these muppets ask the same questions? do they think the answers will be different because they report for different media outlets? 3 minutes out of 30 about the game at the weekend, in a press conference about the game at the weekend?.... pointless the only half decent questions came from Louise at the end!

Great job Coach as always. Just wish the journalists had a microphone to pass around. The second to last person was barely audible on full volume. using an excellent Sony speaker and held it next to my ear and still it was a strain. With the amount of people who watch each presser, it just seems like it would drastically improve the experience. Also it would add context for those who cant blast it and have to guess the inquiry that was asked

I think it's Keith Downie that's coughing and sniffing and groaning and sighing. He is the only journalist that has a really loud clear voice on the mic. I think he sits right next to the room mic. And when he spoke it sounded like he was bunged up a bit.

We know how strict the football authorities are on gambling and yet gambling companies have been allowed to be sponsors for years. Sky Sports are one of the biggest Beneficiaries from gambling adverts and yet….🙈🙉🙊. Re Botman. Any employee cannot be legally forced to have an op even if they are advised to have an op its down to the potential patient and when you do choose to have an op you are advised of the dangers of going under the knife . Nothing is clear cut…no pun intended.

There s something to this. There isn't a player at the club who would happily sacrifice their starting spot, for a rest. Obviously it's up to Eddie at the end of the day, and as far as I'm concerned, the rotation was enough before the injuries hit.

Eddie seems to be pinning the blame entirely on Botman over his knee. He was the one playing him for another 2 games after the initial injury. He made the decision to play him week in week out when he was clearly not fit

I think this is where Eddie probably realises he has the most to learn. He's a highly regarded coach and this is down to his training schedules. This is the first time in his career that he hasn't had a full week in between games, and I think he will improve next time. would love for us to qualify for Europe so he can implement what he's learned this season.

Man Utd away in the cup proved the squad was good enough. Eddie insisted playing the same 11 for months. Thats why we have injuries. Klopp has as many top players out and plays the squad,some of which are kids.

On Tonali, you fail to see the distinction between ‘normal’ people in society and footballers in the knowledge of strict rules in place not to bet in their own sport. Such nonsense from Howe. Kid glove nonsense. By all means support the player with his addiction issues but don’t make excuses for rule breakers. The average Joe is not banned from betting.

Consequence aren't always enough to stop an addicts tendancy to cause themselves harm. Smokers smoke despite knowing they will probably get cancer. Alcoholics drink despite knowing they will probably get kidney disease. Footballers that are gambling addicts bet knowing they will get banned if caught. When you are an addict that isn't receiving the help you need, it can be out of your control. The only person talking nonsense is you by suggesting addiction is a choice.

Ah, can’t listen to anymore. Nice when you see your manager in a good mood, spending time with everyone. Defending everyone. We went to a specialist and got conflicting reports? Does that mean the specialist told hum something and the medical staff told him something else? And then he listened to his own medical staff and the player who wanted to continue playing now look at us. Are all these injuries just bad luck or is it something to do with the medical staff 🤷🏻‍♂️

What would anyone do in this situation. You have a player telling you everything is find the knee feels really good and one specialist saying it looks like it needs surgery and others saying it might be ok 🤷‍♂️. To trust a guy who says "I feel good and I'm ready" and has been the model of consistency since arriving... He admits mistakes, but nobody should be blamed just because we want someone to blame. Full investigation into things at the end of season as we've had such serious issues, but it's no one person at fault for this one.

As Eddie has highlighted, you can't FORCE a player to have surgery. If Sven has been saying that his knee was stronger and felt good through rest then what else can the management team do? You can't pin the lad down and force him under the knife man!!! Sven made an error, he has to pay for the consequence of that, i.e surgery! Personally I wouldn't blame Howe for what happened, this is really down to Sven not listening to his body!

Sandro's ban was reduced because of his cooperation and willingness to admit he had an issue and to get help with it.
