South Korea celebrated its first-ever Youth Day today.
President Moon Jae-in said that his government would do its best so that fairness takes root in South Korean society.
Also invited to this year's event was global K-pop sensation BTS who offered words of encouragement to the country's young people.

Achieving fairness and justice in society and the economy that's the unwavering goal of the Moon Jae-in administration.
Celebrating the country's inaugural Youth Day on Saturday,... President Moon stressed he is aware of people's demands,... saying that fairness must be felt in all areas, including recruitment, education, military service and culture.
Moon also highlighted the need to provide young adults with impartial opportunities and encouraged them to innovate without fearing the consequences of failure.
The government will do everything possible for fair opportunities. I hope young people will stretch their imaginations, take on challenges, and vigorously pursue their dreams. The government will provide support with the best facilities and category-specific assistance, so young people can do whatever training and experimenting they desire.
The Framework Act on Young Adults took effect last month, and the third Saturday of September has been designated as Youth Day.
Invited to this year's event were young adults of various ages and jobs,... including global K-pop sensation BTS who offered words of encouragement for young people.
The seven-member boyband said that they will cheer for the young people and stand by their sides so they can pick themselves up despite facing hardships,... noting their own ups and downs on their road to success.
I want to send words of encouragement to all the young people of South Korea who continue to pioneer new frontiers and live their lives to the fullest in all parts of the world.
Young people of South Korea have always been strong and extraordinary. We will give you the encouragement so that you can help and lean on each other. I hope you can change the world with the power of your thought and, in turn, become the beacons to guide the young people of the future.
BTS also presented a special gift that will be stored at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History in Seoul and unveiled in 2039 when the country marks the 20th anniversary of Youth Day.

'Fairness' means different things to different people. How are things not fair now? Adopting the change wanted by people who have no experience contributing and paying taxes will have costs.
I dip into depression when I knew the news .like how I'll react that day all of a sudden. I might be busy with my family or whatever I don't know. I can be die before 2039 .there's no guarantee . I CAN't describe how to write down my emotions here . Bt army's ,, I'll never foget you and this band.
