I appreciate what he's done in terms of student loan relief (I never went to college but I think it's great to help our youth), Infastructure bill, etc. However he is too old. Trump too. The entire world is experiencing high inflation -- due to COVID, Russia attacking Ukraine, China's zero-COVID policy disrupting supply chains, etc. None of that is the fault of Biden or has resulted in the US economy being "ruined." In fact, the dollar is so strong because we're doing better than most major economies. You can look at objective data -- GDP, unemployment, etc. to make this analysis.

They obviously stopped the cameras, the President regained his composure and they reshot the response.” A truly amazing edit...leave in the passion in the first initial responses and then reshoot whatever got edited out to show a calm, in control, on script Biden. Again , I would love to have seen the entire 2-3 hour process, retakes and all. Just to see how the “narrative machine” works.

@@GenXamerica 2019 the fed began quantitative easing, and Trump wanted negative interest rates. The economy hasn't done well at all since 2008. Interest rates should have never been so low, Trump treated the economy like Hoover and his predecessors did before the great depression. Only question is if Biden will be able to pick up the pieces like FDR did in the 30s. Being able to so easily generate wealth in an economy leads to over investment and eventually inflation. We had the fed to fix this, but Reagan era economics and conservative legal philosophy has led to the same situation we experienced way back when we needed the fed.

He's doesn't appear to know the difference between "The Debt" and "The Deficit". They haven't reduced "The Debt" (what the United States owes others...and pays interest on"). They have only reduced "The Deficit" (the amount of money you spend vs. the amount of money you take in via taxes). That's like someone saying "Help! I'm bleeding!" and you attempt to comfort them by saying "Yes, you are losing a lot of blood, and we can't seem to stop it...but hey...its' not getting worse!" I am seriously blown away by the sheer volume of people in this country that buys this line of crap.

I've been buying and freezing meat in bulk, same with dried food and 5 gallon water containers. I've got enough meat, water and non-perishables to comfortably feed 4 people for two years. And I'm still stockpiling. I'm terrified ships going to hit the fan before too long. It's increasingly feeling like that under Biden, the time will come when some of us will have to choose between keeping the lights on, or buying food.
