Awesome about the Harrison! I love that one too. Going to put it in the YL’s vehicle soon. So we can utilize the CTCSS tones on FM

My Thomas has served me well. I wanted a radio with weather & scan skip for my truck. I’m giving my friends son the Thomas to put in his truck.

You'd think for $750 President could give it unique knobs that differentiate it from a $200 Uniden...otherwise I love the homage to the original...which was a highly unique radio enjoyed.

It has expanded range and puits out 60 watts FM. Just need to replace to missing components. A really nice radio. I have a friend who figured it out. He has both this new US version and the export version. Their the same radio.

Hi.Does the screen get very warm,like the uniden 980 ssb?

Honestly never checked. I have it in the mobile now. But don’t drive long enough to actually answer that question. But you know LED’s put off a bunch of heat. At least the socket bulbs 💡 do anyway. So to answer your question, I don’t know.

The Lincoln does the SWR thing as well.
