Hillsdale College is an independent institution of higher learning founded in 1844 by men and women “grateful to God for the inestimable blessings” resulting from civil and religious liberty and “believing that the diffusion of learning is essential to the perpetuity of these blessings.” It pursues the stated object of the founders: “to furnish all persons who wish, irrespective of nation, color, or sex, a literary, scientific, [and] theological education” outstanding among American colleges “and to combine with this such moral and social instruction as will best develop the minds and improve the hearts of its pupils.” As a nonsectarian Christian institution, Hillsdale College maintains “by precept and example” the immemorial teachings and practices of the Christian faith.
The College also considers itself a trustee of our Western philosophical and theological inheritance tracing to Athens and Jerusalem, a heritage finding its clearest expression in the American experiment of self-government under law.
By training the young in the liberal arts, Hillsdale College prepares students to become leaders worthy of that legacy. By encouraging the scholarship of its faculty, it contributes to the preservation of that legacy for future generations. By publicly defending that legacy, it enlists the aid of other friends of free civilization and thus secures the conditions of its own survival and independence.

@@richardprofit6363 if they didn't have the union forcing all the administrator jobs that do nothing that pay could be used to pay the teachers more. Teachers unions are a money laundering scam to get tax dollars back into Democrat coffers and pockets and the kids are now dumber than dirt.

@@richardprofit6363 sure they should keep working but somewhere else. We need to send the teachers unions through the wood chipper. Mike Pompeo said, and I agree with him, that the most dangerous person in America today is Randi Weingarten. THE MOST DANGEROUS

@@desertodavid who do propose to replace the present teachers with ? do you think, at the present level of wages, LOTS of people are just waiting to be teachers ? I CERTAINLY disagree with some of lgbtq/transgender propaganda bs being put in some textbooks, and the NEA sucks for that, but the majority of teachers are not to blame for that crap...but this has become a VERY complex society with problems that don't have simple "one sentence" answers..and a lot of those problems aren't the fault of just one of the political parties..BOTH parties need to boot a bunch of members and remember that they're supposed to be public servants and NOT rulers...

Congress needs to get control of what the bureaucracy does to enforce the legislatures laws. Not the administration. There needs to be a mechanism to interpose congress between the bureaucrats and the administrtion to make sure that the bureaucrats are do the right thing.

It’s great that he highlighted that fact at the end of his speech. It’s one of those things that can be missed by the observer. We don’t always know what parts are the important things when someone speaks. Think, of the teacher tapping his foot on the floor during his presentation. This is to highlight that this is important and will be on the test 🤣 It may be too late is a very important statement. We are all living through History in the making. We are coming to a sort of Crossroads as a Nation. Will the Evil entities that have been operating under the surface rise to the surface in our Great Nation soon 🤷‍♂️Or will we bring this Evil that Plagues our Great Nation into the Light🤷‍♂️ It’s time to cast out some Demons 😂

Schools are in essence, obsolete. once materials are committed to video format, there is no need for teachers, only testers and producers of additional learning videos. No need to administration either.

He’s way too vague. 92% increase in admin relative to what?! Single room school houses? He needs to ground his extremely general sentiments about “the nature” of things in more concrete terms.
