You won’t find that in the Bible. You should read Luke 8:12-13.

@@M.A.Leal8 You should read 1 John 2:18 which explains 1 John 2:19. Context is key. The ‘they’ are anti Christ’s. Not believers. Distinguished from the ‘ye’ that have an unction from the Holy One (1 John 2:20).

@@SheepofChrist818And yet they claimed to be believers. They were "professors" not "possessors." The passage @M.A.Leal8 refers to speaks of both the Antichrist, the one who will come and rule being possessed by Satan, and antichrists, the many individuals who are simply anti-Christ. They deny that Jesus is the Christ and deny the Father and the Son and show they are not children of God. And yet, like Judas the betrayer, they are and were among us and are and were tares within the wheat. They are or were self deluded thinking being "religious" made them approved before God. But in the end Jesus will say to them, "Depart from me, I never knew you." Does it seem likely to you that the many antichrists are knowingly plotting along with Satan, or does it seem more likely they really think they are on the path to salvation? They professed faith and attempt to work righteousness and where they fail to bring themselves into alignment with scripture, they realign doctrine to fit themselves instead. But no matter how entrenched into the church they become, no matter how involved, no matter how self-righteous, no matter how religious, they were never saved in the first place. The falling away proves that, just as it states in 1 John 2:18 & 19. They are antichrist and were never of us in the first place. What true believer can love Jesus and affirm who He truly is only to later pick up a hammer to help crucify Him? If Jesus Christ is not who He said He was then He deserved to die. By denying Christ they agree with and join those who shouted, "Crucify Him!" 1 John 2:22 & 23 tells us who the antichrist is and 18 & 19 tells us they left because they were never one of us. Yet they were among us like Judas and teachers even. They aren't sitting in dark corners with hoods pulled low over their heads glowering at us with hate smoldering in their eyes. They are disguised as our brothers and sisters both to us and even themselves. Does that mean they can't be saved? Certainly not. As long as they are living they can be saved. Does it mean they are saved, then lost, then saved, then lost, then saved again? Certainly not. That would make God very weak indeed as the Bible tells us He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. It is He who keeps us, not we ourselves. The Holy Spirit seals us. The only ones who cannot be saved are those who know full well who Jesus is and know the witness of the Holy Spirit and call Him a liar. Those cannot be saved; they have blasphemed the Holy Spirit.

"Christ came to save SINNERS". Guess what?! He KNOWS about our SIN PROBLEM, SIN NATURE and SIN ADDICTION. And SAVES us anyway by His GRACE! Thats what "Grace" MEANS. He KNEW we were going to SIN BEFORE HE SAVED US! This is what the New Covenant is all about - saving the "ungodly". "But to him that worketh NOT, but believeth on Him that JUSTIFIES the UNGODLY, his faith is counted for RIGHTEOUSNESS" - Romans 7. Believe Gods WORD - NOT your feelings.

When we mix Philosophy with the Bible we create Arminianism. Christ is the only one who can protect us from ourselves. If we could lose salvation, we would certainly would.

As Protestant sin don’t matter. We are saved and can’t lose salvation. As Martin Luther said, when you sin, sin boldly because it don’t matter. Paid in full baby.

Revelation 14:12 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Philippians 2:12 12 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, James 2:20 Faith without works is dead! It does matter..

The grace of God that has appeared bringing salvation to men is also the grace that trains us and teaches us to say no to ungodliness.
