Presentation of Integrity Assessment of the communal water supply enterprise Mykolaivvodokanal

The Integrity Assessment of the communal water supply enterprise Mykolaivvodokanal was presented on 5 March in Mykolaiv.
The EUACI is assessing the integrity of communal enterprises in its 6 Integrity Cities. The assessment methodology was developed by the EUACI and Deloitte based on international standards. The assessment of Mykolaivvodokanal included an assessment of 87 indicators in 9 key areas of activity such as public procurement, ethical aspects, finance and economy. Based on the assessment results, Deloitte concluded that the company has a significant potential for further development.
The 5 March event furthermore featured a public discussion on "Transformation of Critical Infrastructure Enterprises in the Time of War: Challenges and Needs". The discussion involved the Mayor of Mykolaiv Oleksandr Sienkevych, Team Leader of the EUACI Integrity City component Taras Sluchyk, Director of Mykolaivvodokanal Borys Dudenko and the Deloitte representative Yegor Grigorenko. Roman Ilyk, Director of Zhytomyrvodokanal, and Andriy Kolesnyk, Development Director of Chernivtsivvodokanal also shared their experience of effective operation and optimisation of communal enterprises.
