Your still the best. Salute to your entire team.A blessed and safe trip to Richard and Ashley.👏👏👏
I recent bought my first ever Tacoma a few weeks back and it's amazing to see what you guys can do to one. I think I'll be watching you guys for quite a while. Great job!
I freaking love my general tires. Its nice to see someone who has a million dollars worth of gear/equipment still running a reasonable tire.
Excellent job on the new amazing heat system! Good Luck

This is exciting! I always think about what preparations would be needed in order to go solo in the extreme cold and extreme heat. Video quality and the story, makes this series that much greater
So happy to see another episode and a fresh approach to the channel. Well done, can't wait to see other episodes.
A KZreadr named ForestyForest randomly decided to do the same drive from Canmore to Tuk at the same time as Ashley and Richard. He did it in a Chevy Uplander minivan, no planning, I guess everyone is different. When you guys were stuck in Eagle Plains trying to go north he was stuck in Inuvik trying to go south. The great Canadian road trip, hope you had a good time.

We saw that! It looks like his van had already been outfitted to live in (heater etc). We’re ALWAYS jealous of the van living setups. So cozy!! You definitely don’t need to plan that trip. We just started heading north and went from there. Plug Tuk into the GPS and go 👍🏻

I love this. Them: $200k Rig, using every catchphrase term, pretending its a massive undertaking.. ForestyForest: "I got my soccer mom minivan, fatwheel bike, and gonna camp by the arctic ocean." Just goes to show you how exploited and blown out of proportion these "overland" channels really are...

Great call on the Webasto. I had one when I drove long haul OTR. Only had to make the mistake of setting it at full throttle once. Tons of heat. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes for this trip!
Love this! A group of us are in the planning phase of an FJ40 Land Cruiser expedition from NorCal/Reno area to Prudhoe Bay and this series will be great prep material for us.
What a great 1st episode! You guys really were successfull in keeping me counting the days, hours, minutes and seconds for Episode 2. Thanks for your enthusiasm, hard work and great adventures! And this one really looks how it get's you back on the adventure spirit that hooked me since the very first XO episodes!

You're totally correct about General Tire, I travelled around Australia in remote places and never had a puncture. I will buy them again for the new car build.
Great to finally see the series start...
I rode my motorcycle 3 times to the Arctic, I’ve been to Prudhoe, Inuvik and Tuktoyaktuk. All while my 2018 Tacoma sat in the garage at home.
Simply exciting! ✊🏾
Yeah! Finally adventure vids to come... 👍🙌
That Tacoma handled all that weight like a champ. great video.

Followed several of the other series & really enjoyed them. Our family loves camping & years ago in my husband’s high school/college years he spent most any of his spare time in the woods of central TX (where there were trails or not) off roading & overlanding. Now that our girls are older, we as a fam of 4, have decided to step into the world of overlanding (weekend to a week of “mild to moderate” adventures planned). We have weighed all our fam’s needs/options out there & decided on a Sequoia (we know not the typical choice in the Toyota line up of overlanding) & started looking for a used one today. As we continue on our start to our own overland adventures w/our girls, we will continue enjoying ExpeditionOverland’s content & adventures.
Man! Your production quality just keeps getting better and better. I have been waiting all week for this episode to drop!

Of all the builds you guys have done over the years, I think X3 is my favorite. It's a solid overall build that has proven it can do jungles, deserts and arctic. I think Odin looked better but X3 just really is the best all around Tacoma you guys have done to date.

I've used those Wabasto bunk heaters in big rigs. Those things will cook you out of a trucks sleeper on a -30 degree night.
Great vid 💯
Wow guys just wow Lots of love from India
This looks like fun, nice to mix it up and do it in the winter. I'm getting the impression that Tuktoyaktuk is the preferred destination for overlanders trying to reach the Arctic Ocean over Deadhorse. The half a dozen overlanders that I met last summer in BC all went to Tuktoyaktuk. I always heard that there is a chain link fence waiting for you in Deadhorse and then a guided tour to reach the ocean. I’m curious if anyone has done both routes, and which route is more scenic? And which one you would recommend? Cheers from Vancouver.
So Good!
