💗Happy Weekend Everyone! Check out this video to know about Van Life and Truckcamper life but also about a recent scareI had with my van and my puppy and later in this video issues with leashes from the Dollar Tree. Things to make you more aware. :)

Thanks for sharing. You can buy her a harness that goes around her mid section and the leash connects to her back on the harness, plus your dog neck won’t get stuck on things with a collar.👍

Thanks for sharing with Sitka. So glad she was ok after getting stuck:( She’s such a good pup, and I also get how you all will feel safer, and more comfortable in the camper when traveling! 👏🏼🙏🏼❤

Van is cool for weekend fishing, or overnight trip- your truck camper is awesome. Your hair is looking amazing, real full with a nice mild twist curl going on. Impressive for certain...

Thanks so much! I did get enough of a taste of the van to know it’s more of a choice between a tent and sleeping inside . I take the van over a tent . :)

My son has the same light kind of headset. Start using the "bell" system for potty training. You can get the bells at dollar tree. They hang over doorknobs or can be velcroed next to the door. My dog is 9 1/2 years old. It was suggested by my sister. No potty pads at 12 weeks. I would not camp in a van with a dog, transportation is okay. Definitely get her used to transportation. Hopefully camping I would do the truck camper Ask the vet for medication for extreme scary conditions. My 9 1/2 dog is now scared of fireworks, thunderstorms and heavy rain. It get worse as they get older. I think you got this especially with a quality harness and leash or tether.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did buy a bell and am training her for potty . It’s not the hanging kind because my Cat would play all day with it hanging by the door . 😻

Very scary that she got caught on seat belt!Thankfully she was not hurt. Food grade Diatomaceous earth is great to kill worms in pets to!...Took 3 months to get rid of them in my kitten...💙 💙

I got the same pink one for my cat. And I saw it is glued. I think I will try to sew it. Maybe it will help. I love your van. What kind is it. I need to get something bigger. I have a Kia soul. I couldn’t go camping in it. I could in your van. Good luck with your new dog.

God can protect you and your animals, regardless the thickness of the walls. Truck camper or not, just trust God. i sleep in a cargo van in south florida for 3 and a half years, with both front windows open and God takes care of me. Dont live in fear. Just trust God. Yes use wisdom, but when u done did all that you can do, Just trust God and be still and know that he is God.

Stop at a shoe repair or a leather goods repair or maybe a boat cover repair and see if they can stick the leash and you will not have the glue worrie.

  • @StateNewsService

@@SimplyRVing yes all these places are going bye-bye. We are limited in life to Walmart, target, and Amazon. It’s now a take it or leave it. Maybe a Taylor with a heavy duty sewing machine will do it. But it might not be worth the work and the drive plus what they charge you. I just thought that maybe a police uniform place or a gun range could point you to a place. Put for repair price you may be able to buy a brand new high quality one.

Dont blame the dog! Animals/dogs pick up your stress, so if you are, they will too. Try not to be. Also, spend time with walk routines, normally dogs like to walk and sniff then mark terrotory. If you dont establish a routine for them, you'll have a retarded dog. If possible, dont use the leash, try to make sure they obey without leash, once they dont, leash goes back on. Try it again a different day with no leash. A leash is basically punishment. Like a human with handcuffs. Sit on the floor with your dog, NOT on s chair, on the floor. Pet him, just hang out. Thats how they become less stress and you too as well. Feed twice a day. Try to give em pure meat (cooked ground beef), not cancer dig food. Good luck!

I do all that daily on my 3 acres . One stressed day does not account for the other 6 in the week . :)
