well, there's a trick about Prepositions with transportation which is (anything you can walk in it) Use = "On" for instance : ( "on the bus", "On the subway", "On the ship" and "on the plane), On the contrary (anything you CAN NOT walk in it) Use = in for instance : ("In the car", "in a truck" and "in a helicopter") >> so bottom line : If you must sit inside the vehicle, we use in. (it is almost impossible to stand in them.) --------- If you can stand or walk on the vehicle, then we use on. i hope that's helpful for anybody! and of course ,, i agree with you ,, we have to learn prepositons in context ... ^_^

Hi Emma! The best explanations! I heard other explanations about the “at” from an English teacher, “at” is “act” only without the letter “c”. The point is that "at" is used in a place where it is obvious from the context that some kind of action is supposed "at == act". For example, a “student at school” assumes that the student takes some actions - to study, answer to the teacher, take tests, talking, etc. What do you think about it? Reviewing your lessons over and over again, thank you.
