Entonces en conclusión para transporte se usa: 😊 In: Cuándo no hay espacio dentro del vehículo y debemos permanecer sentados 😊 On: Cuándo hay espacio dentro del vehículo y que además se puede caminar y podemos desplazarnos Pero y si hay un vehículo con mucho espacio como lo es un tren pero no nos podemos levantar por alguna orden de alguien ¿Seguiría siendo On o ya sería In?

"next to" iindicates that things or people are quite close laterally -- from right to left.
