I ordered my Model Y on January 15th and picked it up February 1st. I made the purchase as simple as possible; all cash, no trade in, no options. I'm very happy with how easy Tesla made the process, and I love the vehicle. Very happy and looking forward to the $7500 tax rebate.

I ordered 1/13/23. Delivered on 2/3 Model Y (would have been faster, but I missed some paperwork). I did all cash like you; then 3 days before estimated delivery date; I added a trade-in. It didn't change my date at all. Same as you the process was really good (TBH, it was even better with my 2021 Model 3 - they drove it right to my driveway LOL).

I’m in the same boat. Ordered my MYP Feb 3RD and I find myself constantly checking for my delivery window to update or get a VIN. My current eta is March4-March31 black on black

I am very happy your experience has been satisfactory... Mine has been a nightmare! My original delivery day was April 26th... Then they told me on April 26th 2 hours before scheduled delivery that my car would be scheduled the next Friday, May 3rd... Well, as of today it is May 6th and my car is nowhere to be found. My "Advisor" is not picking up her phone or responding to any communication I have sent. I am completely in limbo and NO ONE at Tesla is communicating with me. Heaven only knows when (or if) my car is even going to become a reality. The "wonderful" online experience of having seamless buying is a JOKE!!! If my dream of owning a Tesla ever does come true, the delivery experience has soured me to where I will have no joy when it comes.

Awesome time Alex! Enjoy the delivery experience. I took delivery Feb. 2, and I just love the car. It is so much fun to drive. One "heads up" for you . I discovered at my delivery, the J1772 adapter did not come with the car, so they had to run to the service department to get me one. Also, I later discovered that mud flaps should have been included but were not. So I will make a service appointment to get mud flaps installed. Enjoy!

Super exciting! U will love the supercharger expirence upgrade for road trips. Plus, if you get an air mattress, you can glamp in the thing too and sleep under the stars with the AC or heat running.

Picking up our model y today as well! Super excited. I had one snag, my insurance policy was set to renew in 57 days, you have to show coverage for the next 60 days. Esurance couldn’t extend my coverage until a new policy offer was delivered. That wouldn’t be done until mid March. So I had to get all new insurance to move forward.

Triple check financing before showing up. I was told it was all set up and ready to go on my delivery day. When i showed up i was told no financing was ready (insert sad face here) After about and hour and a half wait to get the financing with another bank i was all set and ready to go. Take my advice to save yourself any headache...Triple check everything with your service adviser

Me and the wife just ordered our MYP, the anticipation is insane. We should take delivery before end of this month.

Very cool process. Question what would you use the FM transmitter for? I imagine you can use Bluetooth to the Tesla for audio from your phone?

Since the Tesla doesn't have an aux port, I'm throwing this in as a backup. Increasingly hard to find devices with a 3.5mm headphone jack without Bluetooth, but in the event I time travel back to 2009, I'll be prepared!

Yes I had to dig it out since I was using my Pixel to shoot with. The iPhone 6S Plus from 2015 still runs the Tesla app, which I think is quite amazing!

Getting MYP in a couple of weeks. Taxes in Arizona are very high....$4900.

How long before the delivery date did you get the vin? I ordered about a day or two after you and still do not have a VIN but I have a delivery date of Feb 28th - Mar 31st

I got my VIN on 2/8 and was contacted to schedule delivery on 2/14. I'm taking delivery on 2/20 which was well within their original estimates of 2/4 - 3/4. Hopefully your timeline will update as you get closer to the 28th!

Good insight of true cost that delivery charge is crazy plus every state has that sales tax does Minnesota have a state tax credit

Sadly, there is no EV tax credit in Minnesota. I think there are 5 states with no sales tax, and a few others that waive it on new EVs.

@@alexkno11 actually I am waiting delivery of my Tesla and I saw a video where the guy said that he installed the wall charger before he received his Tesla because it took a couple of weeks to get his charger from Tesla.

I ordered my model Y long range everything stock except white interior on the day of the price cut, and they keep pushing back my delivery day. I live in California, so very confused why. Congrats on yours though!

Sorry to hear that, hopefully yours comes soon! Have you tried texting your Tesla advisor to see if they have an update? I oddly got my delivery setup request a couple hours afterwards!

I picked model y from inventory i got my vin assigned on Feb 13 but estimated delivery is TBD Will i get vehicle in next 1 or 2 weeks or it will take more time

It's actually an old Inland SSD I had lying around! I submitted trade-in requests for both... Neither car resulted in an offer I liked. I ended up selling the Bolt to a dealership and am waiting to sell the Volt until I take delivery of the Tesla.

Good point... It's cold so long here that we forget how hot it gets in the summer. Though I can't imagine a USB drive would be much better? I suppose a ruggedized/industrial SSD or USB drive would be best, but I'm willing to sacrifice a $20 SSD for experiment's sake.

A glitch in the matrix perhaps? I was surprised too!

my delivery was a massive disappointment. Was on an open trailer in winter in the NE. By the time it arrived it was covered with dirt and ice from the road, scratches everywhere in the paint. They didn't speak english-they were Russian dominant language speakers, the holders for the car were frozen and they couldn't get the car off the trailer. It was just a complete disaster. Tesla has to repaint my car which will take 3 months, so I will need a rental for that time. Just a complete disaster as I spent 750.00 more for the car to have it delivered home. I would strongly advise against this in the NE USA. For me I wasn't going to fly to NJ to drive back to Northern Vermont.

DO NOT TAKE THE DELIVERY. IT's NOT WORTH IT.
