Preparing a Ratrod 65 C10 pickup to DRAG RACE (Will it even pass tech?)

Download fishing clash here: fishingclash.onelink.me/dkOM/... I've only driven this truck once, and that was 2 years ago when the brakes failed. Let's see if we can coble this together enough to hit the Duct Tape drags Oct. 1st and 2nd!

These videos are great. I love the mild delivery and pg zingers. You have really cornered your own audience, your character is beautiful and kind as well as funny and sincere. It’s hard not to enjoy the wholesomeness of your videos, you somehow maintain an edge while being gentle and polite. Fantastic formula for your content, you aren’t trying way too hard so it’s A very organic delivery unlike many of the other shows out there. You’re a lovable guy and quite humorous, keep it up. You could take this show a very long way with very little effort. Stay true to yourself. Because that’s what people love.

Hey Derek. I don't know if you'll see this comment, but I just want to say thank you for making the videos you make. They are simultaneously entertaining and informative and have given me the confidence boost needed to get my late grandpa's '78 Chevrolet C30 back up and running. Over the last couple of months on the days off that I have had here and there, I have managed to do just that. Basically no breaks still, but that's fine, it's a man-U-all edition. Anyways, thanks for inspiring a 23 year old kid to get under the hood of an old sitting Chevy. Much love from Californialand.

Your brake line bending with the weed whacker string blew my mind! I've made snowshoes that way with pvc/conduit by funneling hot sand I baked at 450F into the pipe. Sand heats the PVC while preventing collapse as you bend it. Just bend how you like and duct tape/wire it in place while it cools. I may try to make some intercooler piping that way actually thanks for the great idea!

  • @aliasfred
