Honestly, Majula is the most appealing hub area in any of the Souls games. Only other area that really comes close is the Hunter's Dream(aesthetically speaking, at least), amd mayyyyyybe Firelink Shrine.

Majula is just... pure perfection.

DS Character creation music is such a magical experience, I remember a friend of mine managed to get us two copies of the limited addition 2 weeks before release, I came home and my family was out and the house was very quite, I loaded the game and spend so much time on the character creation just blown away and so excited since Demon’s Souls was my all time favorite.

I remember I lived in a house with a lot of my friends at one point. The commons room had a ps3 with various dark souls titles on it, and for a short while we were glued to them. A friend saw me dying way too much, and decided to show me the ropes. That's how I learned to not die as much and really play the game. I rolled invaders and beat the Fume Knight eventually, and it made me fall in love with the whole series, and take special time to play each iteration. I love these games, I love my friends, and I love being alive.

Firelink shrine (DS) may be the most beautiful sad song of video games of all time. Majula firelink is so iconic also

Demon's Souls menu theme is so out of this world. I really wish they kept the ost for the remastered version.

I was not expecting King's Field music, but it was a very pleasant surprise.

I love Dark Souls music, but honestly, most of the playlists I've found aren't really good, songs don't match or feel disconnected, but this playlist does everything so well, it's totally immersive!
