In today's episode, we bring to an end (for now) our discussion of clerics with a review of our favorite Premodern clerics in black. Plus some gold clerics, some green clerics, some blue clerics, some old-school clerics and some deck discussion. We talked for 2.5 hours and just scratched the surface, but we had to end it there because Alex needed to let his dog out and I had to make queso dip for the Taco Tuesday potluck at work. It turned out awful so I had to swing by Kroger the next morning for a few jars of Tostitos Salsa con Queso. It's made with real milk and cheese!!! You should try eating it cold if you haven't. It's delish.

Great review of black+ clerics. About first mono black deck, I'm not a fan of Kaervek's Spite, and I've seen other mono black cleric decks showing up and doing well without it, and the trend for card advantage seems to be Unearth + Skeletal Scrying instead of other stuff like Phyrexian Arena and Patriarch's Bidding. Anyways, keep it up and let's see what comes for ep 69 😂

I am seeing Skeletal Scrying show up often. I completely overlooked it the first time I saw it, but its a strong card draw spell. I'm going to give it a spin when I start playing more black.
