I am here right now after watching the video. We ordered the premium AYCE. I will not recommend. The nigiri were bad and little things like the sweet shrimp didn’t come with the fried head. If you want very good AYCE, suke2me is still the best. They’re in Cerritos. I think they gave Steve the best portions they have for the reviews. I go to a lot of AYCE in SoCal and there is nothing special about this place. The food is subpar for what you pay for.

Just came back from eating at Tokyo Haus. The premium sushi and sashimi were not bad, they were good. We were dismayed upon discovering that the uni shipment they got was not good, hence not served. As with any other restaurant, it's always better to call the restaurant to check if their uni is good to go. A lesson learned.

@@JamesBourne-uh2xc Maybe just one more time, to try the uni. But even that's unlikely. $55 for AYCE I think is for folks coming in with a big appetite. I got full just eating the premium sushi and their sashimi (premium sushi/sashimi is limited to 1 order per kind per guest), I wouldn't pay $55 just for those.

Baked Muscles: You are so brave in all of your videos to always eat the whole baked muscle without taking a peek at the inside. I would estimate that at least 20 to 30 percent of the ones that I get at the various Asian buffets have sea plants growing inside them, and when I pull out the sea plants, a little bit of the meat tears away too -- i.e., attached to the base of the sea plant. If you have never looked before, do yourself a favor and start taking a peek inside before you eat ...!

@aidenp2005 was in the neighborhood, so decided to give it a try. IMO, the premium AYCE is the only way to go, but like you said the premium nigiri and sashimi are not AYCE. But the quality is decent. Can't say the same for the regular nigiri. The way I look at it is that a decent chirashi bowl cost around $50 these days. So if you order one round of all the limited 1 round items, you pretty much already get majority of your money back. My only issue with them is that their service is soooooo slow, you actually spend more time waiting for food, we were there for almost 2 and half hours, because they couldn't get the food out in time. I likely will not return.
