VAR the technology isn’t the problem, it’s the humans who use it who are the issue. If planes kept crashing because of careless pilots making mistakes you wouldn’t blame the plane and the technology in it. Train refs to be better or fire them. Simple as that.

I completely disagree. The very idea of VAR is the problem. The entire concept of telling the crowd that what they're watching has to be checked and that they can't celebrate/complain/boo/cheer or just be fans until after a check has taken place, you take a huge part of the excitement away from the sport. If you keep VAR you keep that problem. That problem doesn't change no matter how you do VAR, it's just a problem with the concept of subjecting the fans to behind the scenes checks.

Keep VAR, be consistent in its application, and suspend or fire those being partial!

VAR is a good thing to have,the problem is the referees and VAR agents are allowed to make big mistakes without consequences. You can suspect corruption some days

people don't want VAR removed, they just want it better and more consistent. That's the task. No one was happy before VAR when clear errors were made and we had video evidence. So, going back to that isn't the solution. But the current iteration is like a room full of monkeys at the controls. That's what fans want fixed.

There has been progress on the handball decisions from VAR, but for me the main current issue is the offside ruling and the time it takes to reach a decision. They should change the offside rule to include players feet only. If the attacking players foot is behind the last defenders foot then it should be onside (regardless of the rest of the bodies position). Take out the subjectivity around head/shoulder/hip and knee position and draw the lines at the players feet only. Will be far quicker and less subjective.

Don't scrap VAR, just find a way to massively improve it.

Instead of getting rid of VAR, they should get rid of PGMOL

Im pro VAR but the technolgy need to improve same as UCL use especiqlly for the animation for offside movement as we know that currently PL using line only is not accurate

Keep VAR but change offside rule: Referee raises flag incorrectly, game stops referee doesnt raise flag, any part of player is onside then goal stands. Not recommending changes offside rule just the law policing referee mistakes

VAR is not the issue, get the version from the championship league or world cup

Getting rid of VAR is like going from cars back to riding horses because your car occasionally breaks down.

Var is a problem when there aren’t consistent following of rules and when there are instances that var cannot get involved when there is a clear and obvious mistake.

Madrid should extend both Kroos and Moderic for another year... If they want to keep the foot on the neck of La Liga and keep dominating then extend the 2 players contract... Ancelotti will need all the good players available...

Let's be honest, VAR is one of those ideas that needs AI to run the show. Just some match data, machine learning and boom. Quick decison making would solve all the complaints

I don't in anyway support for VAR to be scrapped anywhere, the technology is not the problem, it's the officials handling it that are the problem with their inconsistency in judgments of certain situations. This is not only happening in England but also in Spain.

the nice thing is that they question it in the only championship in which the referees manage it in the best possible way, not blowing the whistle on every single stupid contact as happens in Italy, where a generation of new simulators has been born, for this way of referee.

The reason we have VAR is because the average football fan can't accept mistakes by officials. All it will take is a few bad decisions and the nonsense begins again. Also referees and fans have become accustomed to VAR whether they realise it or not
