The more I learn about the experience of attending football games in England, the more I realize I definitely would be a fan of lower-league or non-league clubs and I definitely wish we could have experiences like that here in the states. However my local USL League 2 team has a food truck with Chick-fil-A sandwiches outside of the stadium so I'm okay with that being hospitality.

The Premier League has become a league for upper middle class & upper class fans only ordinary people how have ordenery jobs just simply cant afford to go to games now especially with the globe cost of living crises we are all going through. As I seen sead on a B.T Sport documentary The Premier League in England in Nothing more than a T.V show now for the vast majority. And that is extremely sad.

@@alanfox691 this. I'm an arsenal fan and all I can afford to attend is the women's games. Don't get me wrong it's still great football. Just not the same.

@@alanfox691 wow yeah I hadn't considered that. Going to an NFL game here in the states is like taking your family to Disney World. Only the very upper echelon can afford good seats. But for fans of Premier League sides whose family have been fans longer than television has existed must be awful to not actually be able to go and support your team

Great ale. Award winning pies. Profits go to the academy and for the community stuff they do. It's a good laugh. And easily replaces the match day feel and experience. I don't miss the PL and VAR and the cheating clubs and players

@@alanfox691 That's why we in Germany have something that's called the 50+1 rule. Everyone is able to afford a game you wanna see. You still got real fans, ultras with the best atmosphere, you are allowed to take your pints within the stadium and overall it's just a better atmosphere and more enjoyable than the premier league
I think in the vast majority of hospitality sections, you’ll be sat in areas with a more quiet relaxed atmosphere as I think that’s what the clientele partially go/pay for.

At non league clubs people have habits. The main stand, which until 3 years ago was the only stand have people that simply want to sit in the same place every week. The kids and some of the older lads that like standing go behind the goal. Others like myself change ends. I have no regrets moving my support from West Ham to Bromley, had some great times and met some lovely people. Great video. The crowds gone... mild was my highlight.
for 35 quid u could come to scunnys hospitality, three course meal b4 match, watch us concede a few goals in the first half, half time sausage roll and tea/coffee, watch us conced a ton more goals in 2nd half. meet man of the match and the special guest at the end

Ellis I must say how amazing and incredible it is that you can catch a grape in your mouth from any distance! Utterly astonishing 😲
You should do hospitality at Leeds, and see whether your bias changes your ratings or what you think of it :)

We got asked not to speak to the "fans" once in a private directors box at old Trafford. And one of the lads had to run to the supermarket because they wouldn't let him in in tracksuit bottoms

I used to chaperone kids teams from across the world, mainly the States, who would be based in Surrey or Manchester for a week; playing friendlies against local teams and academy teams. The trip always included tickets to a Prem match, so I've experienced a lot of ground's hospitality as a 'neutral'. Cracking 'atmosphere' and hospitality at Villa Park, Anfield, Goodison, Elland Road. Given the size of the ground, Old Trafford was always quite quiet, and you'd think Stamford Bridge and the Emirates were libraries were it not for the away fans. The worst was Stoke - when we took two coach loads from Venezuela and had to get the locals to stop screaming at and throwing things at 9-10 year old kids who spoke little to no English, but had politely clapped when the opposition scored.

And this is why people dreaded a cold rainy night in Stoke. It's not just the weather but the rowdy fans as a neutral or away.

This channel makes me want to save up and watch a couple matches in England . Hello from Colorado, USA
Just happened across this channel and love it already. Your shirt collection rivals mine too.
Couldn’t agree more regarding atmosphere. Stamford bridge pre game is horrendous nowadays. No atmosphere at so I avoid home game and do away days only. Good to get an insight on hospitality and now know the reason why I’d never do it. Chelsea through and through but never a good atmosphere at the bridge
Hospitality at Tynecastle in Edinburgh is 3 course meal, pie at half time, ticket, 12 drinks, meet the POM after the game - £70-130 depending on the opponent. Raffles, bet sheets, unique merch all sold during and guest speaker throughout the day.
Loving the new style of content Ellis! Keep at it :)
Incredible value for money at that Bromley game. What a great afternoon out, and at a very cheap price. Very impressed.
Great video Timmy!
love the video and loved the herpies
Grape catching skills are unmatched. Messi couldn’t do that therefore you are the 🐐
Could really do with away days coming to support the utter disaster that’s going on at Scunthorpe united maybe a vlog at glanford park ?
no way how have i only just seen this, im a bromley fc season ticket holder u are a legend
I would like to see one at each level where it exist. Maybe two different ones per level pitted against each other.
Lovong the content!!
Great to see you going to my local club
enjoyed that thank you
Would love to see hospitality in other nations and how they compare!
Really enjoyed this vid. Think your score for Bromley was a bit generous as you had to leave the hospitality seating to get some fun. Really refreshing vid

That's at most clubs really. When it's all local business owners and labourers in hospitality it's a good laugh. When it's old toffs, not so much.
Would love you to do a celtic one
Old Trafford is decent exec tbf. Free bar and food before kick off, half time and full time. They also have your drinks waiting for you at the table at HT and FT. Atmosphere isn’t great in execs compared to my season ticket in the east stand lower. Padded seats though.
Yeah the Saints you should have sat in at Bromley with a little bit higher up in front of some TV screens when you first come out or the hospitality area and yes the better atmosphere is behind the goal where you were
Tell Ben to change his hair up. It's not 2005 anymore.
That grape trick was a sight to behold 🍇 Truly raisin the bar for future videos.
Bromley is a great choice for this, as they are probably the biggest “proper” non-league clubs. Eg not recently (or ever) relegated from the EFL.
Great video, with your rankings just back yourself with your ratings you don’t have to justify every part of it saying if you were richer or a chelsea fan etc etc we’re happy to hear your ratings for what you made of it 😊 love these videos
Great vid. I think the issue with the atmosphere, especially at a 'bigger' club is that you won't catch the higher class fans chanting like you do the fans that go week in week out.

Atmosphere at SB is always poor. Although, you've completely misstated how much Vialli meant to Chelsea (and the subsequently subdued atmosphere) pretty insensitive all in all, but is to be expected from a Leeds fan mind

Hello Ellis! I recently have gotten a signed Foden shirt from Phil himself, and I wanted to know what is a affordable way to frame it? Do you recommend anything?
It’s amazing how you can catch a grape from any distance mate! Now can I have a free shirt 😉
You should come and watch mossley play in Tameside in Manchester
Come to Wrexham next season mate 🤞👍👍👍
I think you should go do one at Leeds and see what that is like
That grape catch was pretty impressive
I went to a corporate box at Arsenal paid for by my company. All you can drink champagne, amazing view of the pitch and the chance to chat with Arsenal legends but the buffet wasn’t great. I certainly wouldn’t pay thousands out of my own pocket for the experience.
Brighton was a good hospitality thing when I went
Need to go down Yeovil now and do it down there
Wtf last thing I thought I’d hear in an away days video is the song slice of heaven absolute banger from New Zealand
Nice ol bit of piiiikul in that roll bouuuuy
I did playoff final hospitality at Wembley once. £400, probably not worth the value but we did win and I got leathered on 'free' booze.

been a season ticket holder at the Bridge for just short of 20 years, the shed end upper (where my seats are) has the best atmos in the league not being biased!
You need to come to st james park!!
As a Chelsea fan it is something that I would love to do at some point… but financially I would probably prefer to do it 12 times at non league level, and again saying that my local non league team is so low down the divisions that they can’t give “hospitality” instead it’s only £7 for an adult ticket and kids go free so with the near on £700 price of 1 ticket I could go to them for every game for probably over 3 seasons and that is the best value out there!!!

It's quite funny the lower league clubs have better fans, they have more passion. It feels like the more wealthy clubs lack passion from players and fans.
