Pregnant cat giving birth to 3 adorable baby kittens - one lilac princess and two blue boys! Precious moments. Our British Shorthair cat named Tiger Eye (nick name Tyggy) gave birth to her kittens! She is a first time mommy and we were very worried about her. There are so many things that can go wrong, but Tyggy did everything so well! I was calm and patient with her, and did not interfere with the process. I was very happy that there were no emergencies and she did not require my help.
Cat pregnancy normally lasts between 65 to 67 days, but the cat gestation period can vary from as short as 64 days to as long as 72 days. Your cat often won’t show any physical symptoms of pregnancy until she is a few weeks into her term. On day 21 of a cat pregnancy, you may notice that her nipples become enlarged and red. She may go through a stage of vomiting. Cat’s tummy will start to grow. A mum-to-be will gradually gain between 1-2 kg (depending on the number of kittens she is carrying).

I'm watching this rn bc my cat is giving birth and her first stage of labor started around 30 minutes ago I'm so nervous but I'm just sitting not too far but not too near from her because she keeps going to me when I leave her alone. it's nice to meet you, friend. Thank you so much for sharing these very precious moments with us. That mommy is such a sweetheart. I am so happy that all of the kittens are healthy. What a precious little family!
Very sweet. I had a very young cat who was too young to be neutered, she escaped through an open window somehow one day and then noticed over time she has acting differently and gradually gaining height. She gave birth to 6 healthy kittens and she was the best mother. They all grew up strong and healthy and were adopted by people we knew we could trust. We kept Mum and a daughter who were obviously fixed and they both lived to 16 and 17. Funnily over time they had no affection for each other, just their humans!

This is hopefully me in a few days - cat too young to be spayed, got pregnant, has 6 kittens inside her, planning to keep 1 baby daughter and have lined up parents to adopt the others.

Cats like to be in tight, small, and dark places to have kittens in. It comforts them and helps them feel safe and secure, and then the kittens are kept warm. Oftentimes, they like to try to have kittens under a bed or try to hide in a closet because of this. They also dig in the towels of the box, which shows that they do in fact like to be in the box. After the delivery, depending on their experience, they will eventually get out of the box for a break from nursing, so there is no problem. You only need bigger space when the kittens get bigger, which we provide each time. Thank you for your concern and thank you for watching!

A neighbours little cat( blue/grey) Luna has adopted us,as weve been feeding her and taken her in the last 2 months as her owners never take her in on a night in the cold and rain,we felt so sorry for her,we just had to bring her in out of the cold as she was always crying at our glass patio door,She is now pregnant,and another neighbour said she looks like she may give birth any day..Ive made up a comfy bed in a big plastic box in the corner of our quiet spare room,hoping she will go in there at the right time..and thankfully I'm retired so will be at home with her all the time..I am so grateful for watching this video,as I had no idea what to expect,even tho,this is all new to me,and I'm nervous incase anything goes wrong..

@@Britishbluecatsthere’s smaller but then there’s too small, this is uncomfortable for her. Get a bigger box next time. Rather than truing to convince people it’s big enough. She’s just about moving in there. Kittens weight would’ve been great to know too.😊

Yet when in the open with as much space as they can imagine they still scuttle into the smallest drain entrance, or smallest cave to do exactly this
