At 46 u r trying for 5 th baby, and cane to share here that how blessed you are lol , here the video is about being aged and having their first child and if u dont know even if u r 80 and want to have 20 th child, it will definitely be possible because u have 19 more but if u didn’t have any only then you will face problems

Ok I was a long distance runner and did not menstrate untill.35. I thought I ruined my fertility!! Well imagine my surprise when I was 48 and found myself 6 months pregnant!!! Easy easy and healthy pregnancy!!! ( this is all natural.. No ivf) and guess what I had two more babies naturally and they were easy and healthy pregnancies!! I'm 55 now.instead of worrying about menopause I'm worrying about getting pregnant again!! I wonder if I unintentionally froze my eggs when my body fat was so low and menstration stopped!! I feel I did that!!

My grandma also had a surprise pregnancy in her mid 40's in the 1950's. She had 5 other kids already and thought she was done. She had most of her kids in the 1930's. Even back then they were telling women it wasn't possible at that age.

Y’all don’t give up hope. I’m 42.5 with one tube and found out I was pregnant when I went to a RE consult. I was going in to get help and I’m pregnant. I’m nervous cause I’ve miscarried in the past but I’ve put it in God’s hands ❤

I’m 40.5. My husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for the last 6 months. I had my fertility evaluated and a polyp was found in my uterus. Had it removed in January and boom, conceived in the next ovulation cycle. I was about to start an IVF journey after the polyp removal, but now I don’t have to. I’m kind of conflicted about the timing because I’ll be almost 42 when I’d be ready to go through IVF for another baby and my eggs would be even older. But I’m so happy I was able to conceive naturally and pray that everything goes well through the first trimester (and beyond of course).

The polyp removal was really quick and simple. I was heavily sedated so I didn’t have to be awake for it. It’s like they went in with a “drill bit” and drilled out and extracted the polyp piece by piece like they were drilling for oil. 😄 I don’t think it was very big, but it was sitting right where the fallopian tube meets the uterus. Quite the obstruction! It turned out to be benign, but it may have prevented an embryo from implanting properly or getting past the first trimester. So removing any polyps sounds like a must. I hope yours are benign and are easy to remove. Good luck in your baby journey!

@@Amazonqn743 thank you so very much for your kind response ☺️ I had a fibroid (they think it was one) on the cervix on the inside and I keep miscarrying, but couldn't figure out why, til now... But my Dr doesn't want me to have them removed and he said I have multiple in my uterus, and actually they're so bad that I haven't been able to sit down in 15 months because the pain is off the charts. My OB said it was a nerve issue, and never told me they've been there the whole time😭😭 so it's been such a long journey but I've asked the Lord to heal me and I just found out I had these last Thursday, so I'm praying this is the first step to getting better, and actually being able to sit down!!!🤣😂🙏❤️☺️ I have to laugh about it because if not I'll cry😂😂 thank you so much for your time and beautiful story and enjoy your precious little one❤️❤️🙏🙏

Well, I ended up miscarrying at 9 weeks. I’ll be doing IVF as soon as possible, hopefully in the next 2 months. I’m heartbroken at the loss of what could have been, but this was a very real possibility with natural conception at this age. I don’t want to try to conceive naturally anymore. IVF only from here on out

My mom was 46 when she had me. She had 3 babies, each of us 12yrs apart. I was completely unplanned! The doctors suggested she abort the pregnancy due to the potential for genetic abnormalities. My parents refused. After she passed away a few years ago, my dad told me that she never had a period again after she had me. I was literally her last cycle of eggs.

The Quran states several times: Allah(God says Be and it is! he gives to whom he wants and when he wants. we have several pleas to get pregnant and strongly believe in it.

I’m 42 and after 1 miscarriage and 2 failed IVFs I finally got pregnant! We tried for 6 years! I had PCOS. What was different about the 3rd and successful IVF? I did this thing called hyperbaric oxygen therapy for 10 days right before embryo transfer. It finally implanted!

Hmmmm - the pill is supposed to suppress ovulation. There are some people that can ovulate through pills but not usually consistently ❤️

I am SO grateful for stumbling across this video. I’ve been a single for mom since I was 25 (I’m now 40), now that my son is old enough to take care of himself I finally am taking the time for me. I want to find my soulmate & grow my family. Over the last 1.5 years I’ve lost 92pounds and am healthier than ever. But I have people telling me that I am too old now to start my dream life. I feel like I wasted all my time focusing on being the best mom to my son and not thinking about me. Recently I’ve been getting my periods every 2.5 weeks. I was told this is a sign of premenopausal. If you stop actively trying & try your best to pretend that you're both just horny teenagers again, maybe that less stress of "actively trying" SO hard might help? Instead, set up set up romantic date nights, you don't wear any undies but ONLY tell him when he's about to ask for the check after dinner. _Than,_ you'se can fool around in the car right afterwards. Try to keep it together when you're driving though, for safety reasons! OR secretly get a hotel room. Buy yourself a really long wig, that's a color that you'd never dye your actual hair, off Amazon or something. Next pull out a _really_ sexy dress & lingerie set for under it. Next drop him a text at his lunch hour. Tell him something came up & to meet you at ____ hotel room & the number. Pre-pack for this event a picnic lunch sandwiches, fruits & veggies for afterwards with, lots of wine or beer. Be waiting in that room for him with the lights really low, dressed like a stranger, your make up all prefect & ready to get messed up. But oh no... you've got nowhere to go except... to bed! Turn on your favourite music & have _thee most fun_ with "not trying" anymore. You're BOTH worth it. 💕💕

If only I would have researched this topic sooner 😢. About to turn 40, never been pregnant, two failed IVF transfers. Dr Lora, your videos have taught me so much. I cannot thank you enough for all you do for this community in order to educate us about this crucial topic that is human fertility. The doctors one see at appointments don't take the time to explain almost anything, and it is so frustrating. I still have one frozen embryo, and I really hope this will be the one 🙏

It is possible!!. I started having babies ...my first pregnancy was a surprise at age 48!! And went on to have 2 more !!! All were naturally conceived too!! Also use ur mind to tell ur ovaries to release eggs I can actually feel my ovaries reacting when I start to think about being pregnant!!

In my mother’s county (Jamaica) this was common they had a name for the babies conceived “wash belly babies”. Its was so common they made a name for it due to the success. Check out for parasites they like the reproductive areas and they take up the nutrients needed to heal your body for a baby. They never talk about parasites but they are a big deal. ❤

Hi Doctor I am 37 and had a miscarriage on Dec 25th 2023. I was two and half month pregnant at that time and I took a set of pill(breeky) to remove the remnants of the pregnancy under a doctor's guidance. I had irregular spotting till I got my next periods which came on 22nd Jan 2024. The problem is that I am still bleeding after 12 days of periods and 41 days of miscarriage. What shall I do?

TTC 9m since my miscarriage. Had my reproductive hormones checked and a pelvic examination, they check egg reserve and everythings normal. I get my cycles everymonth, and i ovulate using the stripes. During my fertility window we do the deed alternative days during the 8 days. I am too tired to do it striaght 4 days. I have a 5yo and life is demanding. All in Gods timing i guess. Last time i got preg bc i done it 4 days straight omg it was like a chore. I think this is were the issue maybe.

Make sure you track your ovulation and don’t let a miscarriage discourage you, I got pregnant with my son immediately after a miscarriage, he was born when I was 37. I had sex once with my husband and I’m currently pregnant at 40.. unexpectedly. When we tried for our first at 31 it took me a whole year. Good luck

I am 42 I have a 12 year old and 4 year old. My husband is 48. We tried naturally for 3 years. Last year we tried IUI 4 times . Then IVF they were only able to get 3 follicles within 2 captures. Then only needed up with one embryo and transplanted that in January and it was not successful. Not sure if I should keep trying 😢. IVF is expensive and my captures were not really much. I did my treatments in Guadalajara Mexico .

Nobody has ever told me that my fallopian tubes might be blocked even if I got successfully pregnant naturally 14 years ago. Thanks to you I did HSG last month and it turned out that both of them were blocked as a result of my c-section. The HSG opened my tubes so technically now I can get pregnant. Although my hormones are perfect, except for the AMH which is 0.21, I am 47 already and it's a pity that I never heard of the HSG all these years while I have been trying for a second child. Hopefully it's not too late for me to get successfully pregnant.🙏 I was wondering whether you consult via video calls since I am living in Europe. I would say it is possible, especially since the body is going through its last hurrah and hyper ovulations, but Down syndrome and twins is very possible at this age. I also think for some women it isn’t possible because their perimenopause is just so severe that they need to be out on hormones and birth control etc to manage the debilitating symptoms.

What if a situation is: azoospermia only 1 tube frozen. Do we freeze as many eggs as possible? At the moment have 5 eggs frozen. Clinic pushing to do a fresh transfer. Both 42 years old. Going for 2 or 3 more cycles and freeze more eggs. Please could advise if this the best way to go about. We had fresh transfer (2 embryos) which failed.

ladies, eat figs. they are great for the ovaries. read up on it. I was having irregular periods once, and when I added figs back into my diet, my cycles immediately got on track, smooth and regular.. i ovulate very normal. signs of fertility can be noticed on your vaginal flow, and mucous. wetness is important too.

Hoping it is successful, we do want to extpand our family and try another retrieval with different facility. What can we do then if it's mainly a sperm issue? It's not too bad but it's not ideal. Should we see a male fertility doctor? Should we be normally active and not just during the window of ovulation? Am I wrong in saying to him, if you don't use it, you lose it 😅 there is actually a lot of content for women but what about male fertility? Just a thought - this video is called "expert tips for success" and the first HALF of the video is driving home the point that it's hard to get pregnant after 40, repeating the same point 5, 6, 7 times. If you want to make a video describing why it's so difficult to get pregnant after 40, maybe make it separate and call it something else? Maybe don't call it "expert tips for success"?

I will be 46 in August. I have an IUD that also needs to be replaced in August and over the last week or maybe 2 my labedo has been off the rails so much so that at one point my husband who feeds off my energy actually asked while holding the IUD sting if I wanted him to pull it... We did decide no after much agonizing over it. But it has been about a week since this all kicked off noticeable. I am so confused with all the hormones I am feeling from the IUD finally hitting the end of its life (due to be replaced in August).and so many other clues that could be early implantation signs, could be symptoms of any one of or combination of 7 medical or mental health disorders I have been diagnosed with as far back as age 5. I am just so confused between did the IUD fail, do I need an emergency procedure to remove it if it did? Am I just experiencing my natural cycle fiering back up after 10 years of not having one? Is it all psychosomatic with this overwhelming urge to have another baby? Are the cramps, thoughts, feelings, overall sensations related to something totally different based on the treatment options of the other disorders? I just have no idea what to feel or expects. I am so scared and excited at the same time. I feel like the 2 week clock is going to kill me, especially since the only really definitive day I have to go on was last Monday and I have no idea when I would have ovulated with the IUD because I got so used to not having a cycle. I have no idea when to expect a missed period- and even when I didn't have the IUD they were never regular...

I did one failed round of ivf and now switched to acupuncture and herbs... when I did ivf the doc didn't think I needed the hsg test, and did the saline sonogram. Should I still worry about my fallopian tubes? I'm 41, low AMH ivf doc mentioned it would take me 6 rounds, likely.
