Yes...and Bayern did really well to come away with a draw! At home they will have the advantage...but they will have to play differently to how they played at the Emirates. I'm an Arsenal fan and I expect Bayern to win...but i don't think it will be easy for them...and the chance 8f an Arsenal win is very much there.

Imo, as inconsistant as Bayern are, and given they will be at home for the 2nd leg, the advantage HAS to be with them and like Liverpool losing 2 games in a row, i can see Arsenal doing the same losing 2 in a row. IF, Bayern do turn up at strength you have to have them favourite to beat Arsenal, imo.

League form should never be compared to UCL, trust me on this one

It’s crazy most of those pundits are dismissing Arsenal so cautiously. Arsenal has been better than Bayern this whole season, but because they lost their last game apparently they suck. It’s ridiculous! Yes, Bayern has the advantage because they are at home and have more experience playing in the Champions League, but this game is still incredibly close. Arsenal winning shouldn’t shock anyone.

What I worry, is that huge stadium full of crazy Bayern fans, can bring out the best out of Bayern and that 5-1 scoreline. Kane is a proven goalscorer and Bayern does have a team, that can run non stop in rage mode. Everyone is rightfully insulting them for losing the farmers league and they will be in anger mode

Being 2nd in your favourite EPL doesn't mean much, especially when you crumble in the first opportunity to be 1st with few games remaining (and this, in your own stadium, mind you). Arsenal showed pathetic mentality back there. Also, Arsenal is not an elite team with elite players. Even an out of form Bayern in shambles is too much for Arsenal to handle and it showed back in the first game when they were lucky not to lose.

Dont bring bayerns match against leverkusen into this. no team in the world can beat that team atm.

As a Bayern fan, we definitely would've beat Leverkusen. We just threw the match away. Man City can also beat Leverkusen, as well as a in form Arsenal, Real Madrid and Leipzig almost did it also. Leverkusen has escaped alot of defeats this season and I'm not even hating on them

Bayern will surely be motivated at home and with the league gone. But hopefully, the fact that most of these guys are now picking Bayern is a sign that Arsenal will advance.

Bayern has been fine in the UCL irrespective of how they have played in the bundesliga. Call it lack of hunger or desire in the league but UCL is a different story.

Worried about Bayern now. You guy's put the curse on. Lol Jokes aside, Stevie does have a point. Even as Bayern fan, they are hard to trust this season. Not a big Tuchel fan, but he has solid CL history and even last year, Bayern was no worse than any team bellow MC. Bayern not lucky, being on that side of the draw, and meeting MC a bit early. Bayern can get this done and make SF, which is the usual CL aim for Bayern.

What Stevie fails to see is that it’s the champions league and not the league. As a Bayern fan it’s unfortunate how little effort they put in the league this season. But you can definitely see it in the way they play that they are going all out in the champions league.

Tricky one to predict. Arsenal have the better team and have the better form but Bayern have the better individuals, more Euro experience and home advantage It really is a 50/50 game, expecting this to go to extra time and could even go to penalties. Think luck will play a big part. I’m a neutral but would say chances of going through are 53% Bayern 47% Arsenal.

Seeing Leverkusen lift the title will have filled Bayern with rage. They are not used to this type of humiliation. I can see them releasing all of their pent up anger and frustration on Arsenal, and it could get quite ugly. Arsenal fans should be mentally prepared for another 5-1.

Also he talks about Leverkusen outplaying Bayern in Munich... well, that game was in Leverkusen. In first half of the season they played in Munich and Leverkusen got a draw with a lucky overtime penalty. And he goes on. Dortmund outplayed Bayern? He hasn't even seen the match. Bayern was bad, but Dortmund just took the gifts. Dortmund scored 2 goals with 0,23 xG.

He will leave definitely even if they do win CL. There was just too much trouble going on and the results alongside the performances itself weren't good enough. On the other hand you have to questions was Tuchel given what he wanted. Was it possible to achieve more with this vast amount of injuries? And was the media pressure maybe a tad bit too much? Bayern was already obliterated even when they had record breaking numbers earlier in this season. After all a fresh start for both sides is probably the choice.

Bayern pedigree. Arsenal slim chance only.

We will see what Arteta and his side are made of. Can they put that shambles of a 2nd half vs Villa and starting 11 mistakes behind them in couple of days and regroup to be at their best against Munich side away? If they are strong mentally and Arteta doesn't mess with the winning formula (Havertz in front 3 and Jorginho in midfield) Arsenal will win or at least take the match to extra time and it might even be a classic. If not, then Bayern will win. Ale is right, Bayern Munchen have nothing left to play but the CL now. However, Arteta has to convince his players that same goes for his Gunners. Prem title is gone to City now and this is the only competition we lads can still win this season, so let's go for it and play like we did since the turn of the year (not in the Villa game/2nd half).

Lol Bayern got outplayed by Leverkusen true at home but Arsenal would also get stomped by Leverkusen given their current form. Because in football form is everything if you lose it no matter how good you are you will lose. Even I can't say City will definitely beat Leverkusen at the moment. What I have seen Bayern can beat Arsenal at their current form they almost did it at Emirates and will do it in Allianz Arena.

And that was a pivotal match and Bayern did absolutely nothing. Just give Leverkusen credit. They are playing amazing and are so fun to watch as a neutral fan.

We would gladly hand liverpool the prem league title if we can win the champs league. I think most people are very short sighted. Arsenal have a very good young squad and young manager and will be competing for years so we'll take the champs league and retool and come back for the prem next season 😆 🤣

I'd argue that psychologically Bayern has the upper hand. They can go all out. Their season is a mess anyway. Failure hit them quite often this season so I doubt that they are afraid of anything right now. Also they play at home and already drew away. Arsenal now drew at home obviously, see themselves against a household name in the CL and just lost in the league. But not only did they lose they let it slip in the title race. The pressure for Arsenal right now is through the roof if you ask me. Nonetheless this can go either way obviously. In the end I just hope for an exciting match.
