Im in palm springs too and regularly monitor the usgs real time quake maps. 1 1/2 weeks ago there were only 1 or 2 little squares above the border now see what it looks like and the quakes seem to be slowly creeping in an upward motion. Its quite disturbing go to
LA and So Cal in general was very quiet for several years... but since July of 2008 we've had 3 earthquakes that were felt city and region wide ranging from 4.7-5.4. Not enough to do any real damage, but a freighting reminder that even in Hollywood mother nature is boss. The last two happen only 48hrs from one another and really had everyone thinking that it might be a sign that our time here is up... the ground is ready to flex its muscles again.
where do u live i live in los angles and never expericne a earthquake until two years ago lastly theres been earthquakes happening alot like there was like5 or 6 3.0 earthqaukes in la ithe the past 2 years

Well, looks like San Diego will take the least of the hit by that graph, I always liked San Diego.......lol, such a lowkey cool town, lol.
@maestrocaliente an earthquake is not fun and you guys a luck because you have earthquake more if the San Andrea fault gives wiegh it would be more devastating than any other earthquake on earth
To all the Californians complaining that we haven't had an earthquake in a while: firstly, I understand your frustration; they're fun as hell! Secondly, we get a few 2.0-3.0 quakes every day, but we don't feel/notice them because we're so used to them. Only the tourists notice anything below 5.0 =)
Man I really don't like these earthquakes I've been so paranoid lately because I've experienced like tree earthquakes already. I don't like how they creep up on you like when your sleeping. Damn scared the shit outta me.
time for an epidural?

There will be an earthquake L.A California for there are more rich people, gambling, drinking, merrying not worshipping God. So I am calling on to the people to believe in God and his son Jesus Christ. Repent and share your wealth to the poor people. God, peace and salvation be with us all!
matt. step aside now... in god we trust.

Read the book of Matthew chapter 24 in the King James Bible. We have been warned. The birth pangs will get more and stronger. Repent or perish
