Get an EV so you can be tied to the power grid that can’t sustain your travel needs and can be turned off and monitored at the Government’s whims…

Batteries are way more toxic to build and they still need petroleum. Where do you think plastic comes from. Save a tree use plastic they said, what a joke, this no different. 10 Years our landfills will be full of batteries. Toxic, toxicoh we will recycle the plastic, blah, blah. These policies are actually perpetuating the problem

Evs are not good in cold climates and we lack the infrastructure for it to be done on a mass scale. Hybrids are what should have been pushed..that woulda made mkre sense but democrats useally dont make sense so

Climate change isn’t a myth. Whether humans caused it or not is the actual question. But some how republicans have accidentally convinced their voters to look dumb when they say things like Climate change is a hoax. It’s like when they thought global warming meant no more winter.

how does the hockey stick validate the GHG effect? Specifically if the hypothesisis is based on the false premise that in the presence of the atmosphere the Earth's surface radiates IR?

I dispute the hypothesis bc it violates basic laws of thermal dynamics. I dont need to count polar bears or tree rings if the model is fatally flawed. It's not at all political or emotional. It's just basic science. I don't care why people manipulate it. You can debate that. The fact is, it's poor science let's move on.

Having grown up in Los Angeles it always felt odd playing in the concrete rivers... I respect that the historian brought up the Anglo-American's ill attempts and trying to master nature. How about adding some native and other populations' perspectives to the panel as well? Heck, even longshoremen. Ironically, the harbor is apart of a global system and "ships happen" mentality which seems rooted in our own economic influence (i.e. capitalism) pushed upon other nations...Outside of the idea of desalinization plants and other tech solutions, it seems like much larger movements need to take happen -- less dependency on cars, paved roads, freeways, etc. event , as just examples. Why not pass policy to begin the removal of concrete except for special circumstances? Rather than so many sports fields using turf, which yea it doesn't require watering, it also isn't capturing rainwater, why not just go back to natural wildands and adapt the sport? Talk about home field advantage ; ) Connect our communities back with using the river, swimming in the ocean with real swim programs rather than just a few local pools and gyms (gyms particularly aren't bringing people closer to the environment compared to other recreational options). I think reconnecting our daily lives to the environment can make a big impact. Anyhow, obviously a complex topic. Thank you for the video post.

I'm glad the younger generation needs accountability and progress. I've voted since 1972 and guess what? The ball gets kicked down the road after you have committed your vote our needs are totally ignored as a working class citizen. Corporations manipulate our politicians and in the end we still suffer financially. Young people...keep this energy!!
