Really like those options barring Sam Gallagher, just don't think he's consistent enough. Need to look at someone younger than him to build around.

Hamza Choudhury our fans would absolutely love him, gives it his all and dives in with leg breakers. I have always really liked him. However, sometimes looks like Claude Makelele and Ngolo Kante had a love child (somehow), other times does look like Vini Souza. He's definitely good enough to play a single pivot DM in championship, but if we were to get promotion I would question him playing that role in PL, because occasionally he's too eager and finds himself out of position. I would love Worrall, but between him, Egan and Jacky Long Throw, we will be severely lacking any speed at back. Therefore Wood does make more sense. But if Egan does move on then I would like Worrall in the Centre of the 3. Assuming we still keep 3 at back. Egan unfortunately way too slow to play in a back 4, so if he is renewed on, we will be playing 3 at back for sure.

Marc Leonard, Jay Stansfield, Alan Browne, Charlie Hughes and GK Beadle stand out - can we really steal him away from S6 😲😲?? Don't want to start a war! God, I hadn't finished when I first commented. I can't stress how much I agree with Hal that Nick's picks are SO underwhelming! (Yes, even Alan Browne. If we're signing a new midfielder, I'd far prefer Choudhury) But I also have to concede that Nick's probably right. I've been criticising the decision to give Wilder an 18 month deal and especially the job of the rebuild, and my logic has been that Wilder's transfer record is pretty poor, and he has a habit of going for older players and players he's either had before or chased before (not to mention his absolute favourite stat to go for "British and Irish players who many people believe are past their prime". I've been trying to think what the 2024 just relegated equivalent of signing Ricky Holmes and Samir Carruthers would be, and I reckon, despite the positional difference, Bradley Dack and Paddy McNair are probably the equivalent of doing that, so you should all put your life savings on us getting both of them on a free, and spending the entire budget for permanent fees on someone who won't play more than 10 games before they get a career ending injury

Beadle already asked to return to Wednesday. Feels Danny Rohl and goalkeeping coach has helped him move on. Wants a full season with players he already knows

Lewis O Brien will cost you 10 million for calling us Notts Forest and at least 5 or 6 million for Joe Worrall make it a round 20 million and you can have GK Matt Turner as well

Some good shouts tbf, on the GKs I don’t mind Beadle or Rushworth however Randolph is a no from me I think Lee Nicholls could be a realistic option.

But Nick we can't be signing 29 year olds up and down the field 🙄 we want a team who are going to grow into a cohesive close team over the next 3 or 4 years 🤔 players between 23 to 27 not a team knocking on 30 year olds at the start of next season

I’m not saying we should only sign these players. This is a prediction video and it’s much easier to predict the older ones that we could sign than delving into the younger market as there are so many choices. I’m sure we will mix youth and experience. These were just more experienced players I think we may try and sign.

Some decent suggestions up until the strikers, we will need an out amd out goalscorer because let's be fair we haven't got one and if Leeds go up I'd go for Joel Piroe on loan because alot of their fans don't see where he fits in their system, or at a long shot Macaulay Langstaff at Notts County I know it's a lower level but he's scored 98 goals in the last 3 seasons. My realistic list would be Keepers - Bachmann (Watford) Beadle from Brighton isn't a bad shout from Hal Defenders - wouldn't mind Worrall from Forest or McNair from Boro tbh - Burrows from Peterborough would be a decent signing but then again their chairman is a stubborn so and so when it comes to selling their players (don't blame him) - Ben Johnson from West Ham can cover right back and centre half and also out of contract - Aaron Creswell also from West Ham as some experience in that left side of defence also on a free an a move back up north for him Midfielders - I'd take any of your guys suggestions tbh Wouldn't might Mowatt from West Brom as a rotation player Strikers - Like my earlier suggestions think Piroe on loan would be a decent shout if Leeds go up Langstaff from Notts County (cheaper option) As an outsider because he'd have to significantly drop his wages but wouldn't mind Danny Ings in the championship

Who knows about forwards, we can all dream...

I hope we're not waiting on transfer deadline day before we're looking at who we signed. I want to see early business and players in by pre-season. I've no doubt the club will use the Euros as their excuse, and the usual "transfers always happen late in the window when other clubs know who they're bringing in," despite everyone else around us signing players in the same timescales and alleged restrictions. This club are the kings of poor excuses.

There's a recurring pattern of "he's really good"!! Past experience we might add "until he gets here" pick your player, McP, Brewer, Arch, any recent goalie 😕

Choudhury I called as a signing we needed last season, I doubt we can afford his wages in The Championship. If we have to sell Hamer, Sara from Norwich is the replacement (again I wanted him last season).

I think Nick has a point, but honestly I wouldn't be at all impressed by McNair. As for Worrall, I reckon Oli has a point, and even if we don't switch to a back 4, I think Worrall could be a good shout for the middle of a back 3. Egan on the right, Trusty on the left. I know Egan's positioning is more his strength than his pace and distribution, but if we use wing backs in a more attacking way that would be fine with that extremely solid (at champ level) back 3

Egan’s positioning is dreadful. As bad as the rest of his game. He’s always in the right place two seconds after the right time. He’s a very poor defender. #CaptainCalamity
